-Finnick's POV-

Our tributes this year don't seem promising. We have a thirteen year old girl who can barely hold a butter knife and a fifteen year old boy with a superiority complex. Amily and I agree to try to help and them but I warn her not to grow attached to them. Their chances aren't good.

Snow has me working this week but thankfully Amily has the games off since it's her first year as a mentor. I keep sneaking into her room to check for morphling vials. So far I've found nothing, and she seems fine, but her being in the capital stresses me out.

When I'm not at an appointment, I'm usually with Amily, Jo and Blight. Cashmere sometimes joins us but I can tell she makes Amily nervous. I'm glad that Amily and Jo seem to be good friends.

My appointment tonight was one of the worst ones I've had in awhile. Both of our tributes passed 2 days ago but Ams and I have to stay in the capital till a week after the games finish. Amily hasn't had an appointment yet, but I think she has one tomorrow.

I try to be quiet as I slip back onto the fourth floor. I can barely move and my scalp is bleeding from my client's nails. Showering quickly, I pass out in my bed to try and forget the night's events.

~ Finnick's dream~
The careers are chasing me. They realized my plans to leave and decided they weren't letting me get away. I bolt through the trees, trident in hand, ready for an attack.
Glancing over my shoulder, I notice the people chasing me aren't the careers. I stop in confusion before panic sets in. They aren't the careers, they're my clients. Before I know what's happening, they've tackled me to the ground and begin ripping off my clothes.
"Please stop!" I beg. "Leave me alone!" I shout.
~

Bolting up, I'm drenched in sweat. Someone is shaking my shoulders and it takes me a minute to recognize a worried Amily. Shit. I must have been screaming and woke her up.

"Finnick!" she exclaimed. "Finnick are you alright?"
"Yea," I state. My voice is hoarse so it comes out more like a whisper. "Sorry it was just a dream."

She looks worried but doesn't question it further. Noticing the state of my arms, she leaves for a second and returns with a first aid kit. We don't speak as she applies ointment to the marks on my wrists caused by too tight of bindings. I wince as she cleans the scrapes on my back. I hadn't even noticed them before.

"Finn," she sighs.
"It's ok Ams," I reply. "I'll be ok."
She gives my hand a squeeze before getting up to leave.

"Ams?" I ask. She turns to me. "Could you stay in here tonight? I don't want to be alone right now."
Her face fills with worry but she sets down the first aid supplies and quickly crawls into bed with me.

"Goodnight Finnick," she yawns.
"Goodnight Amily".

-Amily's POV-

Finnick didn't have another nightmare while I was there. I hope that my presence calmed him down. Sleeping in the same bed as him didn't feel as weird as I thought it would. Sure it wasn't the first time, but I don't remember much of the first time it happened. My first appointment of this trip is in an hour, and Finnick also has one later, so we both leave to get ready.

Pulling up to my appointment, I notice it's a house I've never visited before. When I enter the large estate, I am greeted by my client, the terrifying newest head gamemaker Pansey Cardew.

"Well come in my darling," she coos. "I don't bite!"
Ushering me into her house, I am taken aback by the size of it. Game makers must be richer than I thought.

Before you know it, you're being pounded into by Pansey's husband while Pansey does who knows what. You were not prepared for an encounter with men and your brain shuts off for the night.

You had a few more appointments that week but you didn't allow yourself to feel anything until you arrived back home in 4. Finnick could tell something happened, but you didn't want to talk about it. All you did was tell him it wasn't cause you stayed with him it was just a bad appointment.
