𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 (𝑇𝐵𝑃)

Chapter Three

"Well gents, this is where we split up," Griffin says with a fake sigh before looking at us and smiling. "We'll see you later." Billy smiles. "Definitely!" Bruce says with a smile. I nod at the boys as they say their goodbyes and we all make our way into our cabins. 

"They were an interesting group of people," Collin says dully. "Especially Vance, wonder what's up his ass," Bruce grumbles and we all chuckle, except Axel. I notice and look over at him. "You okay Axel?" I ask and he lifts his head up. "Oh yeah, it's just that Vance... Vance is my brother. He's always an asshole by the way." Axel says with a sigh. "Oh! Okay then..." Bruce noted, slightly shocked before flopping on his bed backwards.

"Anyways- Finney," Axel says tauntingly, looking over at me. I lay on my bed and look over at him. "Hm?" He smirks. "So what's going on with you and Robin huh? I saw your little interactions and lovey-dovey stares you were giving each other." Alex states making the other two nod in agreement.

"Oh come on, I was just being friendly with him." I try my best to hide the bright blush and nervous smile on my face. "Oh come on!" Axel shakes his head at me. "What?" I shrug my shoulders trying my best to play it off. "Whatever you say Finney..." Bruce snickers. I roll my eyes and lay back down looking up at the ceiling.

"This is gonna be a great summer I just know it!" Axel says as he plops on his bed.  "And we have the best cabin in the camp," Collin adds. We all hum in agreement. "We should do something," Axel says suddenly sitting up making us all look up at him.

"Like what?" I ask. "After they call for lights out and all that good stuff we should sneak out and go for a little late night swim, maybe even sneak a drink," Axel smirks making all three of us give him a look and Collin smiles. "Let's do it!" Bruce cheers. Collin nods and so do I. "We just have to make sure that we know the counsellors are in for sure," I add. They nod their heads. "What about we go out at 12?" Bruce suggests. "Yeah, that should work." Axel agrees.

"Wait, but how do we get the drinks?" Bruce looks at all three of us. "Don't worry I am prepared for the whole summer." Collin smiles making all of us share a look. "Well then it's set, well sneak out at midnight and go drink and go swimming." Bruce smiles, leaning back on the headboard. "Sorted." Axel nods.

Soon after dinner time, it was time for all of us to head in and get ready to sleep. I walked over to the window and drew the curtains closed so they would think we were about to go to sleep. "So, we have exactly 2 hours until we leave. What should we do?" Bruce asks as he sits on his bed. "Well, there isn't exactly a lot to do," Axel states boredly.

 I shrug as I look through my bag to find my swimsuit and my pyjamas for the night. After I pick what I want I quickly get changed and put on my shoes again. "Do you guys miss your home's already?" I ask as I look up at the ceiling. "Yeah, I do." Collin mumbles. "Not really..." Axel mumbles. "Me neither." Bruce agrees with him. "I do," I whisper. "But, it will be the best time ever!" Axel says making the others and I hum in agreement.

Soon it's midnight and we all get up quietly. I crack the blinds in the window open and look out to see how dark it is outside. The only source of light is the moon and the stars. "Okay let's go," I whisper as I turn back to look at the other three. Collin grabs a bottle and wraps it in his towel and we each tiptoe to the front door.

Slowly I crack open the door and stick my head out making sure I don't see any movement. As soon as I can tell that we are okay we all slowly make our way out of the cabin. I softly close the door behind us and we all walk onto the soft ground. We hear a sound not too far away which makes us all freeze in our spots. I look around with squinted eyes to make sure I see no one is around.

Once when I'm sure I motion for us to all hurry towards the lake. We quickly scurry until we get to the trail that leads to the lake. "I have so much adrenaline right now," Axel whispers making Bruce chuckle. The four of us walk until we see the lake and quietly cheer. When we make it to a spot that we are sure will not make it easy to spot us and we all start stripping out of our pyjamas until we are only in our swimsuits. We all have our separate piles with our towels and sit down.

Collin pulls the bottle from his towel and opens it before taking the first swig. He keeps a straight face as he swallows the alcohol before handing the bottle to me. I take a quick swig and try to hide the sour expression on my face as the burning sensation of the vodka runs down my throat. I take another swig before handing the bottle to Axel.

He takes a little sip and gags before handing it to Bruce. Bruce drinks some and wipes the corner of his mouth before handing the bottle back to Collin. We all go around at least three times with the bottle, Bruce and I drinking the most before we decide to save the rest for later. "Come on let's go swimming!" Bruce smiles grabbing Axel's shoulder and pushing him to the cold water.

I slowly get up and the alcohol hits me. I sigh as I slowly shuffle to the water. Meanwhile, Collin is just acting fine about it not seeming too affected at the moment. As soon as I walk into the water I yelp at how cold it is. "Holy shit this is cold," I mumble as I walk back out of the water. "Come on Finn!" Bruce slightly slurs from the water.

"I think I'm good for now." I try my best to form a correct sentence. "Suit yourself!" Axel shrugs as he and the other three swim around and splash each other. "Well, well, well look what we have here?" I whip my head around to see the four boys from the Red cabin standing there. Vance has a smirk on his face as he looks at all of us. All of the boys in the water are frozen in place as they also look at the other boys.

"Why didn't you invite us to the party?" Vance shouts before smirking again. "We didn't think we had to!" Axel rolls his eyes, the alcohol must be giving him more confidence because ain't no way he would talk back to Vance like that. "Oh come on don't act like that!" Billy chuckles. "Come swim with us then." Bruce chuckles, motioning them over. "Fine by me," Vance says taking off his shirt before running into the water with his swim trunks on.

I noticed all the other boys also wearing their shirts and swim trunks. Billy and Griffin follow in suit of Vance and all three of them jump into the water sending the water splashing everywhere. I look over to see Robin standing there a bit awkwardly. "Do you want a drink?" I ask as I give him a lazy smile. "Of course." He smiles back at me.

I motion him to me and we make our way over to the pile of clothing and towels. I grab the bottle and take a swig before handing it to him. We both silently pass it back and forth to each other. Both of us were very drunk. "So you are telling me, you hit him in the stomach with his bag, kicked him in the face, knocked him down on the ground, bust his nose, and knocked a tooth out just because he was shit talking?" I slur looking at Robin. "Yeah." He laughs making me smile so big. His laugh is so cute.
