"I don't like this..." I whisper as we all walk in the chilly night to the main cabin. "It's gonna be okay," Robin whispers to me, wrapping an arm around my waist. We quietly walk until we get to the little library window. It was still open, which made both Robin and I smile as we slide it open enough for us to crawl inside. "You two better be quick, I don't like this," Billy whispers. "Yeah, Yeah we know." Robin rolls his eyes at him.
He turns back to me and smiles before boosting me up so I can climb through the window easier. Slowly I get in and I look around. The door to the room was shut but it looked to be locked. Lucky for us it locked from the inside. "Maybe you guys can wait in here? It locks from the inside." I mention making Billy quickly nod his head. "It's too fucking scary out here." He whispers making the others except for Vance and Collin agree with him. "It's not fucking scary out here, yous are just fucking wimps," Vance says making Collin nod his head in agreement.
"Fine you two can stay out here by yourselves then, we're going in there," Axel says as I help Robin get in through the window. "No, I mean we better protect you guys and Axel so we'll go in too." Collin quickly mentions. "Yeah, we can't leave you in there without us." Vance quickly adds.
The others can quickly get into the library and Collin slides the window shut behind them. "Okay so be on guard, and make sure no one could see us outside of the window," Robin whispers. "We don't want to be caught or be seen by the man." He says making everyone nod, except Vance, who just sits in a chair near us.
"You can lock the door but make sure you open it when we knock," I say. "It shouldn't be too long but who knows, if the director has been keeping this secret for this whole time I don't think she intends for it to ever get out," Griffin tells the group. "Okay." Collin nods.
Both Robin and I walk to the door quietly. I unlock the door and slowly open it to try and make sure it doesn't-
Creakkkkk~
"Shit," I whisper making Robin cover my mouth with his hand. "It's fine." He whispers in my ear making me shiver. I nod my head and open the door the rest of the way. I look around and I keep my guard up as I make sure I don't see anybody. I grab Robin's hand in mine and hold it tightly as we walk out of the room. Robin closes the door behind him softly and we make our way down the hall towards the main desk.
We go down the opposite hall and make it to the director's office. I twist the handle and the door opens. The room is dark but there's no sign of anyone being in there. So we walk in and shut the door softly behind us. "What are we looking for?" I ask Robin quietly. "We need to get her laptop, and see if it has anything useful on there." He whispers to me. We both walk to the desk and Robin takes a seat in the chair.
"Come here." He whispers to me. Patting his leg for me to sit on. I chuckle. "I'm not doing that." I laugh. "Oh yes, you are now come here." He pulls me onto his lap making me blush. He opens the computer after a moment and to our luck the the computer is unlocked.
I click around and go onto her email. There's nothing on there so we go to her files. When we look on there we see that she has one in the trash. I click on it and it is the file on the counsellor who was killed. I take out my phone from my pocket and quickly snap a picture of it. Just as we are about to keep on looking the front door of the place opens. I look at Robin with wide eyes.
We quickly get out of the computer and close it. We both get up. The front door closes and there are two sets of footsteps getting closer and closer. I look at Robin panicked. He grabs my hand and we run to the second door. He quickly opens it and we both go into the coat closet. He shuts the door and we get as far into the back as we can behind the coats so we have some sort of coverage.
The door to the hall opens and the lights turn on. Before it closes. "Albert what did I tell you about being found!?" Miss Shaw yells at the other person.
Albert?
Somethings wrong...
"You need to stop killing people... killing kids." She sighs. Both Robin and I look at each other with wide eyes. I have to cover my mouth to make sure I'm not breathing too hard. Robin pulls me close to him and hugs me tightly.
The other person just makes a grunt before talking. "It's not my fault that they found my shack." 'Albert' answers. "And what about you going into the camp and killing the counsellor?! Huh?" Miss Shaw sneers. "She was in my way." He simply answers. "You better keep yourself under control, you are a grown man, and we don't want what happened last year to happen again!" She slightly shouts.
All of a sudden the other person starts crying making Miss Shaw sigh. "I'm sorry Al, it's just I don't want them to take you away from me again, you're the only family I have left..." She says in a sad tone. "If your mother were here she would be crushed knowing that you were killing and got caught and taken to a facility." She adds on. "I'm sorry sis..." He keeps on crying. At this moment I was scared but it is so hard to not laugh.
Robin puts his hand over my mouth and makes sure it's covered and he looks at me with a glare. "Don't fucking think about it." He mouths to me. I close my eyes trying to concentrate on something other than the grown man sobbing. "Al... all of this killing is not good..." The chair squeaks. The cries get muffled so I assume Miss Shaw is hugging him.
And then I stop and think for a moment.
Albert...
Shaw...
Albert Shaw...
Albert Shaw.
