"So, where do we start?" I ask Robin quietly as he leads us back to our cabin. "Well, I don't assume they just have everything laying around so we need to pay a visit to Barry." He smiles making me nod. We both walk back towards the main cabin. Robin quickly shoots behind a tree dragging me with him when we get there.
I look to see that Miss Shaw is leaving the building and walking to an old beat-up jeep. She drives away quickly leaving the area and I'm assuming the campground. Odd. Robin and I walk quickly towards the main cabin and make it inside. "Hiya kiddos, what can I do for you two?" Barry greets us with a big smile on his face. "Hey Barry, I have a question." Robin smiles at him.
"Of course, what's up?" He smiles. "We were wondering if you had any books that we could maybe read, we really love reading and wanted to know the history of this place?" He explains with a charming smile.
"Oh, you mean the archives?" Barry asks. "Yeah, those!" I nod my head in agreement acting like I'm fully paying attention and not getting distracted by my thoughts. "This is the first time a camper has asked me about the archives, they are accessible to all of the campers, no one has ever asked me about them before though." He says with a shrug as he gets up from his desk and trudges down the hall, us following closely behind.
Robin and I follow behind Barry. Robin looks over to me with a smirk on his face. I blush and look down trying not to make a fool out of myself in front of him. Barry stops at a door unlocking it with his keys. He opens the door to an old dusty room with a couple of tables, chairs, and 4 bookcases. Robin and I look at each other with wide eyes. "The last bookcase, on the two last shelves contains the archives." He points over at it.
"Thank you so much, Barry, we owe you." I smile making him shoo us inside. "Don't be silly kid, this made my day already." He chuckles before walking away, leaving Robin and me to our own devices. "Well, it's time to start digging." I clap my hands together.
He nods and we both enter the room and walk near a table. It has a little window next to it. I walk over and open it to hopefully make the room's stuffiness disappear. I walk over to the bookcase where Robin is sitting and I sit next to him. We both each grab the first book from the last two bottom shelves and start flipping through the pages to see if we can find anything relevant to the man with the mask being here or Miss Shaw.

After about four hours of searching, I look over to Robin, wondering if he has found anything yet. He looks up at me with a sly smirk on his lips. "Did you find something?" I ask with a bit of a smile hoping he has something good. "Of course I did. I'm the great Robin Arellano" He says making me chuckle and roll my eyes. I move beside him and look down at the book.
"Okay so basically, Elina Walker was a counsellor in this camp in 1996 and David Shaw was a camper. She was 33 and he was 14 at the time, when David turned 18 they got married and bought the camp." Robin says and I look up at him, "That's a 19-year age gap, and she was probably feelin' up a 14-year-old." I voiced and Robin just shrugs before he starts reading again.
"Anyways, they had three kids. Marie Shaw, the oldest. and..." He trails off and I look at him confused, "What's up?" I ask, "The other two names are crossed out, I think one of them starts with 'M' though but that's it." He explained. "Oh, well read the rest anyways." I urge him.
"Okay so, Elina and David ran the camp and when the siblings got old enough they got jobs and moved away or whatever. It stayed like that until two years ago when something happened to the two other siblings. Must have been something really bad because Elina and David got a divorce. David ended up killing himself due to grief from the split and Elina got in a car crash a few months after. When that happened, Marie took over the camp and has stayed the owner since."
