You woke up freezing. You reached a hand out blindly in search of your bed companion only to find an empty spot and cold sheets.

'She left.' You thought pouting. You were really looking forward to waking up with her. Why would she leave? You looked around the room immediately noting that fresh clothes were hanging on your dresser as they normally were.

'Shit.' you panicked. If your clothes were hanging up, then Mina must've been in here and seen you snuggled up to Cordelia. A sense of dread and guilt filled you. You just hoped that Mina didn't jump to any conclusions, but even if she didn't, snuggling up to another woman still was a betrayal. But hadn't she betrayed you? Did she even deserve your loyalty anymore? Not really you decided. But still you didn't want to hurt her, and you knew she was probably fuming right now. She honestly probably dragged Cordelia out of bed.

You jumped out of bed and raced downstairs stopping only to listen in on the two women in the kitchen.

"I'm not sorry Wilhemina." Cordelia said.

"It's Ms. Venable to you!" Mina sneered.

"Well Ms. Venable as I said I will not apologize nor be made to feel guilty about providing my baby girl comfort when she needed it. I in no way took advantage of her emotional state as you seem to be suggesting."

"She's mine! And please you jumped right into bed with her the second you got the chance to! You didn't even give her time to process!" She scoffed.

"I was asked by OUR girl to stay, and what? You'd have me deny her? Leave her sobbing in bed alone?" Cordelia snarked.

Mina was silent a moment.

"No, I suppose not." Mina sounded broken and on the verge of tears. You'd only seen her cry a few times and each time it was frightening; to see a woman so strong crumble. You huddled up near the doorway deciding to see where this conversation would go.

"I can see your trying to change, and that's wonderful. But it doesn't change what you've done. You killed her. You took her from me, from her life, from her family."

"Oh please like your perfect and that was literally a life time ago. I would never harm her now!"

"You kidnapped her! You bought her like she was an object!"

"I- I do not need your judgment. Y/n forgave me for that. You know what I don't know why I am bothering to explain myself to you. You need to leave, Get the fuck out!" Mina yelled.

You took that as your cue to come out of hiding.

"She's not leaving Mina." You said walking calmly over to the fridge.

Mina gaped at you astounded that you were even speaking to her but ever stubborn she persisted.

"Y/n she needs to go, you can keep in contact with her but I do not want her here."

"Is this not my home as well?" You snapped glaring at her.

"Of course it is but-"

"Then it's settled she stays. I want her here, at least until all of my memories are returned."

"Y/n can I speak to you privately?" She gritted out clearly irritated by the entire situation. You knew Mina was trying to change but she wasn't entirely different you could only push so much before she lost her temper.

"Whatever you have to say just say it in front of her." You said looking toward Cordelia who was doing her best impression of a statue in the corner.

"Oh yes I forgot you two are an item now." Mina said rolling her eyes dramatically, but you could hear the hurt in her voice.
