That morning was awkward. You walked down to the kitchen and was greeted with a raging Mina. She was aggressively cooking breakfast, throwing around pans and ingredients. You just sat at the island waiting for her to say something, but she didn't even acknowledge you. You couldn't blame her; you'd be upset if you fell asleep with your lover and woke up with an empty bed. Plus, you were with Delia, she knew that, and that made it even worse than you had just left her alone in the middle of the night. You felt a bit guilty but not about the kiss or sleeping with Delia just about making Mina upset. You hated seeing her so angry and distant, you could tell those walls were going back up.

Cordelia eventually joined the both of you in the kitchen sitting next to you at the island. She was fully dressed for the day unlike you. She sat there for a minute and watched Mina shuffle around with the food.

"Can I help you with anything?" She asked hesitantly.

"No." Mina snipped as she turned around to set a cup of coffee in front of Cordelia. Delias eyes widened in surprise, but Mina just turned back around and continued cooking.

You looked at Delia and she looked at you before glancing back at the coffee. You could practically hear her internal conflict as she stared holes into the mug. She went to pick it up but was interrupted when Mina brought two plates over to the island. She put one in front of you and the other in front of Cordelia before grabbing a glass of juice for you. Eventually Mina came over to the island with her own plate and began to eat. She stopped when she realized you and Cordelia were staring at her like she was an alien.

"What?" She snapped wiping her mouth with a napkin.

"You uh.." You blubbered as you looked at the food, she placed Infront of Cordelia.

"What do you want me to starve her? Because I can do that." Mina quipped rolling her eyes.

"No I-" You started.

"Thank you, Ms. Venable." Cordelia interrupted. Mina didn't acknowledge her at all and continued to eat. You looked to Delia once more and shrugged.

"Oh for the love of god eat!" Mina sneered.

"It's not poisoned if that's what you're worried about. I doubt poison would kill the witch bitch anyway." Mina added focusing back on her food.

Cordelia visibly bristled at that comment but just picked up her fork and ignored it which you were grateful for.

"When are you going to start the process?" Mina asked.

"She's going to unbind my powers today so maybe tomorrow."

"Are you sure that's wise?" Mina asked raising her perfectly sculped brow at Cordelia.

"It won't hurt her and that's what she wants." Cordelia said.

"Oh, so you just give her whatever she wants? No wonder she was so eager for me, she must've wanted a firmer hand."

"Mina!" You scolded but they both ignored you.

"I assure you she was plenty satisfied; violence isn't the only means of control." Cordelia matched her energy and that in itself was terrifying.

"But it is the most effective." Mina narrowed her eyes at Cordelia.

"I would disagree." Cordelia argued taking another bite of her food.

"And that's why she's in my bed." Mina smirked.

"Is she? Because I'm pretty certain she ended up in mine last night." Cordelia quipped. You saw Mina gear up and you knew this was going to end badly.
