Waking up snuggled between the two women you loved was heavenly. Both of them were partially laying on top of you as you were nestled in the middle. Your feet were propped on the ottoman and both of them had a leg thrown over you. It was actually kind of funny because you could tell that based on how uncomfortable they looked, neither had intended to fall asleep. Your heart warmed knowing that they wanted to comfort you and stayed by your side despite the clear discomfort.

You tried to stifle your giggles, but it was a failed attempt. You knew you had to wake Delia first because if Mina saw the position the three of you were in, she'd probably die of embarrassment. You nudged Cordelia but she didn't budge so you tried to channel your new witchy powers. Cordelia had mentioned briefly about conversations of the mind... and well how hard could it be? You thought hard about what you wanted to say to Delia and pictured the message flowing from your mind to hers. It took a few minutes and a few tries... and as soon as you were about to give up her eyes shot open, and she immediately sat straight up, her blonde hair falling in her face.

Delia throwing her leg off of you in the process made the entire couch shake and so Mina awoke with a groan as well. Mina was less inclined to get up so soon and just snuggled back into your shoulder. As much as you loved when she was all cuddly and cute, you knew she would feel awful if you allowed her to stay on the couch.

"We have to get into bed Mina." You said softly as you eyed Delia. The blonde woman blinked rapidly before finally relaxing back into the couch. You'd have to remember to ask her if it worked or if she just woke up. Mina groaned and pouted at you before laying back down, the woman was damn stubborn. You looked over to Delia for help only to find that her eyes had closed once again. Well, you weren't going anywhere so you decided that you'd just deal with the back pain tomorrow.

..............Cordelia's POV............

"Careful!" Wilhemina whispered yelled into her ear. Currently she was carrying a very uncooperative sleeping y/n.

"I am being careful!" She snapped back at the redhead. She was tired, exhausted even. The ritual had taken more out of her than she'd like to admit and keeping face for y/n took even more out of her. She knew her little one was going through too much to be bothered with taking care of her, and she knew from experience that that's exactly what y/n would try to do if she let on that she was even a little bit under the weather.

She was trying to keep her emotions in check because she knew how important keeping control was. Being the supreme was challenging, she had to remain in constant control to ensure everyone's safety. And right now, the redhead was getting on her last damn nerve. The girl wasn't particularly heavy, but her muscles were sore, and Wilhemina wasn't exactly doing much to help. That wasn't her fault of course, she wasn't physically able to help... but she didn't have to criticize the way she did everything all of the time.

She was well aware that the attitude from Wilhemina was a result of many things outside of the redhead's control. Wilhemina had suffered unfortunate circumstances. She realized that during their first meeting. The stoic outpost leader radiated power, but underneath that was a well of pain. She could feel it in the aura surrounding the woman, and even back then she wanted to help her.

Ms. Venable was an evil woman that got off on the pain of others... but she was also a woman that suffered through the worst. Wilhemina was strong and even when they were at odds, she admired that about the other woman. She had hoped the redhead would help them, if she could just get through to her... if she could've just broken down her walls and shown she was deserving of her trust things would be different. She wanted to save the redhead from the future... from herself, before y/n was even at the outpost. She'd gotten visions of the outpost leader; of the evil acts she'd commit... but she didn't have the time to spend on her. She had to focus on the apocalypse, on defeating Micheal. She regretted that now.
