"I don't know if it's a good idea my love" she said softly. She looked at you pleadingly. You could tell she didn't want to hurt you, but the rejection still did.

"Why not, I love you, you love me. We're going to get married after all of this craziness. This is a way we could be connected now." You reasoned.

Cordelia proposed to you a few months ago. As soon as you began wedding planning the apocalypse started and unfortunately saving the world had to come before your happily ever after. But you could wait. You'd wait forever for Delia; you loved her more than anything and couldn't imagine life without her. You wanted her in this life and the next. In every life until the end of time. She made you feel whole.

Your father had attempted to kill you before you ran away to find the coven. You found out you were a witch when you set your house ablaze. Your mother died in the flames and once your father put together that you were responsible, he went mental and tried to shoot you. The only reason you managed to escape was because he was beyond drunk. You left with nothing but the clothes on your back. You were sitting in the pouring rain sobbing with no shoes or jacket, shaking from the adrenaline and the cold. And then she just appeared in front of you. Later she revealed that you had somehow called to her from states away. She'd been dreaming of you every night for the last month and when she heard your distressed voice in her mind, she immediately teleported to you using the link. That was the start of your story together, since then you'd been inseparable.

"A bonding spell is extremely powerful y/n. We will be bound together forever, in every life, this one and the next." She explained.

"I want that, don't you? You're it for me, I want to be with you forever, I love you more than anything!"

As tears ran down her cheeks she said "of of course I-I do. B-but it would be selfish of me to let you go through with this. You're still young you may change your mind... and this, this is a forever thing y/n for all eternity. And I'm the Supreme, I'm going to die when the next rises, it's how things are. It may be 40 years from now or tomorrow, but I couldn't possibly do that to you, you could never love another. Even if you somehow managed to, you'd never feel complete. Half of your soul would be with me in my afterlife."

She grasped your hands tightly, "please y/n I love you more than anything. And we will get married after this is over and we will have our life together I promise. I just don't think it'd be in your best interest to do a spell like that. Plus, it's very complex requiring some hard to come by ingredients and an ancient magic practice that's now frowned upon. We will get the witches together like we planned, and we will take down Michael before he's able to set off the bombs".

You hated when Delia mentioned your age difference. You were 18, an adult. You certainly had enough life experience to know what you were getting yourself into.  So, what she was 32. She constantly worried about you changing your mind about her. She played it off as a joke most times, but you knew it was a real insecurity. Also, part of you worried that the plan you all had set in place to confront Michael wasn't going to work and you had a sneaking suspicion that Delia had a backup plan but every time you asked, she brushed it off making you even more worried that there wouldn't be an after defeating Michael at all. So, if you couldn't have a wedding then at least you'd be bonded so you could have one in another life. (The witches believe in reincarnation.)

"Okay Delia for now we won't do it okay, can we maybe talk about it again another time". You spoke. You wanted to do it, but you could see how much it hurt her to refuse you. You knew if you pushed, she'd cave, she always did for you. She'd give you the moon if she could.

You gently kissed away her tears making her giggle.

"Okay darling". She agreed flashing you her signature smile
