Diabolik Lovers: The Fiancée (Shu X OC)

Blast from the Past

It's raining hard and Yui is wakened by the  lighting and thunder. She sits up and looks at the window

"It's raining really hard out there" she says

Yui walks towards the window and slide the curtain a bit to the side. Then she sees the woman with purple hair and dress once again

"What? Who's that?" she gasps

The woman slowly turns to look at Yui. Yui could feel her chest aching again. She falls on the ground. When she stands up she found herself going to a tunnel. After walking for a little while she finds herself in front of a fountain

"Huh? What's this? Where am I?"

Then she hears kids laughing and run past her

"It's the triplets. But they look so young" she says

Then the mysterious woman called out to the young version of Ayato

'That woman, is she the one I saw in the garden?'

Laito calls Kanato and they leave, leaving Ayato all alone with the woman

"Listen. You're going back inside to study" she says

"But I don't want to. Give me a break. It seems all I do is study" Ayato complains

"I don't want to hear any excuses. Return to your room this instant" the woman says in a more serious tone

"It's not fair that Kanato and Laito always get to play when all I ever get to do is study" Ayato says

"That's because you're not like other children. You're special"

"No I'm not. I just want to play some more"

"How many times do I have to tell you?! You are the successor, you do understand what that means don't you?! Now tell me Ayato, what is it that you must do?"

Ayato falls silent

"I must become number one. I must be the best. Better than my brothers. Better than...anyone"

"And what if you failed to do so?"

"Then I am not worthy of being my mother's child. And I deserve only to be sunk to the bottom of the lake"

"Exactly! That's a good boy. You're utterly worthless to me unless you're number one so you better work harder. What happens to worthless boys? They spent eternity cold and drenched on the bottom of the lake. All alone where no one can hear them scream. If you don't want that to happen to you, then go to your room right now" the woman says

Ayato runs away

The woman then sits down on the bench, when Kanato runs to her

"Mother" he says

"What is it Kanato, my precious little song bird? Sing for me. I want you to sing that beautiful song of yours"

"Yes mother, as you wish" Kanato starts to sing for her

'This beautiful woman. She must be the triplets' mother'

Then she hears a dog barking. She turns her attention to the sound, and there she sees a beautiful woman resembling Shu and a young Reiji on the foyer

'Is that...Reiji?'

Yui hear the dog barking again, so when she turns towards the noise seeing a young child happily holding a puppy, and next to him is a younger girl. They walk towards the woman and Reiji. The woman stands up

"Shu. What do you think you're doing with that mongrel?" she asks

Shu runs to the woman as he holds up the puppy

"Look! My friend just gave him to me. Isn't he cute?!" Shu beams

The woman turns to Roka

"I tried stopping him Aunt Beatrix, but he wouldn't listen" she says as she crosses her arms

She turns her attention back to Shu

"Release that vile thing at once" she says

Shu laughs as the puppy licks his face

"Hey! That tickles!"

"Shu. You mustn't forget that you are the eldest son. You'll be the head of this family one day. Therefore you must learn how to conduct yourself properly at all times" she says as she looks at the butler

The butler bows and takes the puppy from Shu

"No! What do you think you're doing?!" Shu says as he tries to protect the puppy

"I said no! I promised Edgar that I'll take care of him!"

"Shu!" Roka says as she holds Shu's arm

Then the lady, Beatrix, walks closer to Shu, staring at him, stopping Shu's protest

The butler successfully takes the puppy away from him. Shu looks down bitterly at the ground and runs away

"Shu! Wait for me!" Roka says as she runs after Shu

Reiji glares in their direction

Beatrix sits back down

"Mother! Look. I finished memorizing this entire book" Reiji says but their mother doesn't pay him any attention

Then Yui notices a white rose near my feet. She bends down to pick it up but she ends up pricking her finger

Now she finds herself in a rose garden, and there she sees a young Subaru in the distance, staring up at a tall tower. Yui walks closer to him. He looks sadly down the ground. And his silver knife drops to the ground as well

The scene shifts once again. This time Yui find herself looking at a green haired man and the triplets' mother holding hands at a table

'That man'

"Cordelia. You are by far the most beautiful and elegant creature that walks this earth. All wordly things exist only to love you. And to kneel adoringly at your feet" the man says

Cordelia just chuckles as the man kiss her hand

"Oh Richter. How I wish I could always keep you by my side whispering your sweet nothings in my ear"

"Huh?" Yui turns to the side and see Ayato is staring at them from a distance

"Ayato"

The mood changes

'What?'

Time has stopped. But the woman, Cordelia starts moving, then she looks at Yui. Her eyes widens as their eyes meets

Yui takes a step back then feels her heart ache again. She holds her hand to her chest and fall to the ground and lost consciousness. Then she is found by Ayato. Ayato and Laito sucks her blood

It was a strange dream, she doesn't even know where she is and how she got there. All she know is, she is getting a bad felling about the purple haired woman
