Diabolik Lovers: The Fiancée (Shu X OC)

Prologue

A young beautiful vampire is inside her room, in front of the window. Staring out at the moon with a small smile on her angelic face

"Lady Roka, shall I pour you another cup of tea?" her personal butler asks

"No thank you. I think I've had enough" she answers without looking at him

'Hmm. I think it's about time I call Shu' she thinks

Roka began living in the Sakamaki mansion a few years ago, in preparation to become Shu's bride. However she is back in the Demon world at the moment visiting her relatives

She takes out her phone out from her dress pocket and start calling her dearest

On Shu's side of things, he's in his room, laying on his bed. After getting a call from HIM, his phone starts ringing again

'Tch. What a pain' he thoughts

He lazily looks at the caller's name. Once he sees who's calling, his expression softens as he answers the phone

"Hey" he says lazily

"You certainly took your time answering the phone. Didn't you miss me at all?" Roka asks with a slightly annoyed tone

He knows her so well that he can picture her pouting face on the other end of the line

"Of course I did" he tells her

"I missed you you know that? You never call me" she says

"It's too much of a hassle" Shu says boredly

"*Sigh* that is so like you. Anyway, anything new happened while I was away?" she asks

"Yeah. HE called me a while ago"

"Really? What did he say?"

"Someone will be living with us"

"*Grunt* Another sacrificial bride? Just let the others suck her dry and throw her away once you guys are done" she says, unamused

"Remember, if you want to feed on her" she starts

"Ask you first, I know" Shu says

"Good. That's right" she says, satisfied

"She's from the church. And"

"And?"

"HE said we're not supposed to kill her"

"What?! What's so special about this one?!"

"Who knows" Shu says with no interest

"So she'll be staying longer than the others have? No. This is unacceptable. I'm forging back home this instant! Expect me in a couple of days"

"Look. Calm do--"

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*

She hangs up the phone on him

"I forgot how easily jealous she can get. Well whatever" Shu chuckles as he falls back asleep

Back with Roka

"Who's this girl I wonder? And what's so special about her that they're not allowed to kill her?" she asks to no one in particular

"Butler, begin arranging my luggage. I shall return to the Sakamaki mansion as soon as possible" she says to her butler

"B-But miss, what about your uncle and aunt?" the butler asks

"Notify them that there's an urgent matter back in the human world so that I have to return" she says

The butler bows as he takes his leave. To confirm things, Roka decides to call the Vampire King himself

"Hello?" he says

"Uncle, it's Roka. About our new roommate"

"Ah, so Shu have told you about the new bride" he says

"Affirmative. Why may I ask will she be receiving special treatment than the previous sacrifices?" Roka asks seriously

"*Chuckle* Now now Roka, all things will be revealed in time"

"As the future lady of the house, don't I have the right to know?" Roka pouts

"Roka, I'll give you the necessary details when it comes down to it. Just do what I say and watch things progress as you wait for further instructions. I'm leaving you, Shu and Reiji in charge of her. Do what you want but refrain from killing her. Understood?"

"*Sigh* Yes Uncle" she says as she cannot really argue further

"Good" he says before ending the call

Roka glares at her phone screen

"Unbelievable. I've been following his orders from day one and yet he still keeps me in the dark to the most important details! And why must I work in partnership with Reiji of all people?!" she says in frustration

"*Sigh* Well whatever" she whispers to herself as she calms down

She looks outside the window once again, deep in thought

'Whowever the new bride is must be special if the boys are not allowed to kill her...No matter, whoever she is, must bow down to me'
