*FLASHBACK*
Roka and her father set forth to the Sakamaki mansion. Today is the day she'll meet the king's sons
Her father leads her to a room
"Wait here Roka" he says
"Yes father" Roka nods obediently
As soon as the door closes, a voice speaks out
"Who are you?" Reiji asks
"Oh, someone's here. My apologies" Roka says as she notices Reiji at the side of the room, reading a book so she proceeds to walk towards him
"I am Roka Igarashi, from house Igarashi" Roka says as she curtsies
"What about you? May I know your name?" she adds as she stops in front of the table where Reiji is
"I'm Reiji Sakamaki. Second son of the vampire king" Reiji says
"Nice to meet you Reiji" Roka smiles
"U-Uh yeah. You too" Reiji says as he turns back to his book
"What are you doing?" Roka asks as she peers at the book Reiji is reading
"I'm just finishing memorising the book before I show mother"
"That sounds hard. When did you start?"
"Yesterday"
"What? You only began yesterday and you already memorized half of it? That's amazing" Roka beams
"It's not really a big deal"
"Of course it is. Not just anyone could do that. I mean, I mean I could never do it" Roka giggles
"You're really amazing Reiji. What is the book about?"
Reiji smiles
"Would you like to read together?" he says with a warm smile and a blush still on his cheeks
"You don't mind?"
"Not at all"
Roka happily sits to the chair next to Reiji's. They read the book together, Reiji helping Roka with lines she doesn't understand
After an hour or so, they take a break on reading
"So what's your business here in our mansion?" Reiji asks
"I was brought here by my father to be introduced to the vampire king's sons. So in other words, you and your brothers" Roka answers
"I see" Reiji nods
"I was told to be acquainted with you all and I shall be engaged to one of you" Roka adds
"What?" this catches Reiji's attention
"Yes, I was chosen by the king himself to be one of his sons' bride"
"Will you be the one choosing who you have to be engaged to?" Reiji asks
"Indeed I am" Roka nods
"I'm kinda nervous. I hope your brothers are as kind as you" Roka says nervously
"They're not that bad. If they ever do anything, just let me know and I'll set them straight" Reiji smiles
Roka giggles
"Thanks Reiji"
Suddenly the door opens again
"Look, Reiji's already here" Ayato says
Karlheinz, Cordelia, Beatrix, Roka's father, and the rest of the Sakamaki siblings enter the room
As soon as Shu enters the room, his gaze stumbles upon Roka
