Diabolik Lovers: The Fiancée (Shu X OC)

The Takeover

Yui is in her bed

"Now. You must waken now" says a voice in her head

"Cordelia"

"Ah" Yui wakes up and sits up from her bed

She feels her chest tightening again

"What's wrong with me? My chest hurts again" she says

Not knowing what to do, she decided to take a stroll near a lake

"Oh there's a church here" she says as she walks closer to the abandoned church

Bats come out of the dark room

"Ah please stop it! I can't stand it anymore stay away from me, shoo go away" Yui says

"Quiet" she hears Shu say

Hearing Shu's voice, Yui enters the small church

"Hello? Shu? Is that you?" she says

When her vision adjusted to the dark room, she sees Shu and Roka. Shu is hovering over Roka as she lies down on the concrete bench, her face is red and her blouse is open. It's so obvious what just went down

"Ah!" Yui reacts as she covers her face in embarrassment

"Do you want something for me?" Shu asks

"I-I'm very sorry that I disturbed you" Yui says as she removes her hands from her face

"You should be, we were just getting to the good part, right Roka?"

"D-Don't ask me that" Roka says in embarrassment

Yui is shocked at the sight of Roka. Yui have known that Roka has a strong personality and she's very opinionated, but right now, she looks so vulnerable

"Why are you gazing at me like that for?" Roka asks as she she slightly glare at Yui

"She probably haven't seen you so defenseless before" Shu says as he kisses Roka's hand

"Because I want you to be the only one to see this side of me" Roka blushes

"I know"

"U-Um" Yui speaks up before the lovers could continue what they were doing before she even arrived

"Stop, Yui is here"

"You really are a tease"

Ignoring Shu, Roka regains her composure as she sits up and starts fixing the blouse of her dress

"So, what brings you out here Yui?" she asks

"I've been unwell. Something has been wrong with me lately. I hear the voice of a woman who isn't there and I feel so weak and unsteady I just don't feel like myself anymore" Yui explains

"It must be the awakening" Shu says

"Roka, didn't you tell me about the awakening before?" Yui says

"Affirmative. No sacrificial bride has been able to survive till the moment of awakening before" Roka says

Yui remembers the first time she met the brothers and they were talking about the sacrificial bride and Roka explained a bit to her as well

"Please tell me the whole truth. What is the full reason I was brought here to this house and what about my father, how is he connected to your family?" Yui pleads

Shu sighs

"I should let him answer your questions" he says

"Huh?" Yui looks at him in confusion

Roka turns to the side and calls for someone

"We know you're in here" she says

"You two were always very perceptive"

A man enters the church. He's has a stern look and green hair

"Excuse me, but who are you?" Yui asks

"This is Richter. He is our uncle" Shu answers

Then suddenly, Yui remembers what she  saw before. It was him that was with Cordelia

Shu helps Roka up, taking her hand and guiding her out of the churh

Richter takes Yui to where he stored Cordelia's blood soaked dress. Yui seemed to be drawn to it as she walks closer, her eyes, blank

"You needn't hesitate any longer. This dress... it belongs to you now" Richter says

Yui reaches out to touch the flower on the dress, in that instant, her consciousness was taken over by Cordelia

"So finally we meet again... Richter" Cordelia says

Richter smirk and bows

"My beloved Cordelia"

Cordelia looks down on her hands to see the blood

She laughs historically

The moon starts turning red. And everyone seems to feel the change. Shu and Roka stops making out, Reiji stops his experiments. Laito stops his game of pool. Kanato in the sacrificial brides' room, Subaru who is sitting on a window sill. And Ayato who is also awakened from his nap

Ayato immediately sits up and looks for Yui. He goes in her room but she wasn't anywhere instead she finds her rosary on her bed

Roka and Shu stops what they were doing and decides to investigate, when they run into Subaru

"You guys felt it too huh?" Subaru says

"Affirmative" Roka nods

"Let's find the human" Shu says as the three of them splits up

'Yui, where are you?'

Worried for her friend, Roka searches the mansion aimlessly

When suddenly, she sees Yui's figure in a balcony

'That dress'

Roka approaches her

"Cordelia" she calls

Cordelia turns around

"Well well, if it isn't Roka" she smirks

"It would seem you had returned... In a different body no less" Roka says

"Of course, life is full of surprises. Anyway, it's so good to see you"

"I doubt that. You still despise me for not choosing your sons as my Fiancè" Roka points out

"You're as perceptive as ever. I suppose you could say, I'm still bitter about your choice. You chose the wrong vampire"

"No, I did not" Roka says

"Think about it, Shu loves your body more than he does you"

"No, he loves my body because it's mine"

"Is that so? From where I'm standing, it seems Shu lost interest in you, why I wonder? Is it because you won't give him a taste of your blood? Or maybe because he fell out of love for you? Now all he wants is your body because that's what men wants" Cordelia smirks

"N-No, you're wrong" Roka says

"Am I though?"

'She's only saying all this to get under my skin'

"Shu loves me for me" Roka says firmly

"People change Roka. You should know that, For one look in the mirror, you used to be shy and quiet, but now look at you, so outspoken" Cordelia says before leaving Roka frozen place

Not long after, Shu arrives

"Roka, what is it?" he asks worriedly

This makes her leave her thoughts

"O-Oh. It's nothing" Roka says before leaving the balcony as well

This makes Shu worried but he knew when she wants to be alone
