Roka is walking through the halls of Sakamaki mansion, looking for Shu. She suddenly hears a violin being played
'What a beautiful melody'
Roka follows the sound until she ends up in front of the music room, which the door is slightly open. She peers inside and finds Shu playing the violin
When he finishes playing, Shu hears applause
"Huh?"
There by the door, he sees Roka
"I wasn't aware you play the violin" she smiles as she walks closer
"Oh hi Roka, I didn't notice you"
"My apologies. I was looking for you, when I heard that beautiful melody were playing"
"Thanks. I'm supposed to perform for the other aristocrats soon"
"Oh you mean for the party this weekend?"
"Yup. Mother said I have to practice till it's time"
"I'm surprised you didn't run away"
"*Chuckle* Well, music is the only thing they make me do that I actually enjoy"
"That's good to hear" Roka smiles
"Hey, why don't you stay here with me and watch me practice" Shu suggests
"Are you certain? I wouldn't want to distract you"
"You won't. In fact, I will be even more motivated if you watch me" he smiles
Roka blushes at this
"I-If that's what you want, then I suppose I don't mind" she says shyly
With Roka as an audience, Shu continues to practice until the day of the party
"Good luck Shu" Roka beams
"Good luck" Subaru says also
"Let's hope it goes well" Shu says nervously
"Of course it will. You've got a lot of talent"
"You think so?"
"Of course, I saw it when I heard you played the violin"
Roka peers closer at Shu
"You will be amazing, so do not look so disheartened" Roka smiles warmly
"Do I really look that upset?" Shu asks
"A little bit, yes" she says
He then smiles brightly
"How about now?" he asks
"That's the face I love to see" Roka smiles
"Love?" Shu asks, looking at Roka
Roka realizing what she said, turns red
"I-I-I mean--" she fumbles
He reaches out and place a hand on her cheeks, smiling warmly and affectionately looking at her eyes
Shu looks so relieved as if some burden was lifted up from him
"Thanks. You really know how to make me feel better" he says in a sweet whisper that could make any girl swoon
"Now, let us give a round of applause to the Vampire King's first son, Shu Sakamaki" the MC says as the guests all start clapping
"Keep your eyes on me, alright?" Shu tells Roka
"Of course" Roka nods
Shu gave Roka's hand a squeeze before going to the stage with his violin
"You really like him huh?" Subaru says unexpectedly
