Abaddon Pressed the button on a gadget in his hand. We looked as his purple clothing turned all black with a red aura. "Abaddon don't be

foolish! This generation of mutants are filled with young, innocent teenagers! You're causing more harm than we are!" I yelled, but to no avail. I shot frost at him through my hands, thinking that I can get him from a distance. He held his hand out then a blue, glowing barrier formed around him, blocking my hits. This must be from his suit. That is when I realized what we are up against. His evil intentions and his constant upgrades in technology is why we it's up to us to put an end to this. I looked at Sasha and we nodded at each other, then Crystal and Sasha exchanged the same nod. We ran towards him to attack. One by one we all started to attack using our powers while Crystal shot at him. He blocked every hit with the same barrier. After he blocked the final hit from us he disappeared. We all started to look around. "Where is he?" Sasha asked. Sasha and I jerked back as we saw him appear again behind Crystal. Crystal tried to shoot at him but he grabbed her gun and threw it, causing it to slide across the ground. Before me or Sasha could attack Abaddon, he stabbed Crystal with a dagger. Her stab wound quickly healed, and I soon realized that Abaddon only wanted to test out Crystal's health abilities. "Oh" Abaddon said, enthused. "So you're the one that can heal any injury... Fascinating...That's why Sara managed to live after our fight..." He continued in a creepy tone. "Leave her alone! Focus on me!" I yelled to distract Abaddon, but he ignored me. He looked at Sasha and I while pushing his hand out, sending a force that pushed us far back. We hit the ground so hard that we broke a few ribs. I felt a sharp pain while I heard each one crack and I heard Sasha's ribs break as well. We groaned in pain as we looked up. Abaddon had a barrier around him and Crystal and it looked like he was absorbing her power. She began to weaken more and more and I heard her scream in pain. "Stop! You'll kill her!" I shouted, straining myself even more. Sasha began to drag her body across the ground until she was able to stand up. She spit up blood then began to shoot fire at the barrier. "No, Sasha. There's no hope." I said in tears and in pain. "You're wrong Sara. It will weaken the barrier after a while." Sasha replied with a smile. Her smile faded when Crystal's unconscious body was thrown to the ground. I soon forgot about my pain at the sight of Crystal in that state. "Is-is she dead?" I asked. I used the little bit of strength I had to stand up by Sasha. I could hear Crystal's heartbeat from a distance get slower. I also heard a clock ticking from a distance, almost like it is inside someone's body. I looked around to see where the clock ticking could be from. "What have you done to her?!" I yelled. I don't care about our argument anymore. She's still my cousin. Abaddon came closer to Sasha and I, keeping his barrier around him. The sound of the clock got louder. "It would be impolite not to thank you all. Now I can freeze time and heal myself! This clock in my heart makes me stronger without being a mutant!" Abaddon said with an evil grin. This must be what the hatred is all about. He just wants to be like us but fears us at the same time. This doesn't excuse what he did to Crystal. "Sara?" Sasha said. I turned my head to her. She leaned in and whispered in my ear. "We need to destroy the clock in his heart. Maybe if we combine our powers it will destroy him." "How will we combine our powers?" I whispered. "Let me see your hand. Since water comes from your hand and fire comes from mine, if we hold hands while using our powers with the other hand we will combine our powers." I grabbed her hand to test it out. My powers began to feel stronger along with Sasha's. Water can make a fire biggest after all. "Are you girls accepting your deaths?" Abaddon laughed. "No, but you will have to accept yours." Sasha laughed back. I laughed with her as I held my hand out that wasn't be held with Sasha's to hit Abaddon with our combined powers. Sasha held her hand out as well and we shot at Abaddon. It went through his barrier and went through his chest. His scream echoed in my ears until he collapsed. He laid there lifeless.
