As promised, Changbin went shopping the next day, head in his palm and the hangover from last night reminded him of his mistakes. Sure the fresh air had helped him sober up on the outside but his insides still ached with the feeling. Popping a few painkillers in his mouth, he locked his door and made his way down to the corner store, making the door chime with his entry.

"Hey hyung," Jeongin said from his place behind the register. "Felix is upstairs if you wanna see him."

Chanbin thought that was odd. The two had only spoken for the first time last night so already on casual speaking terms was strange, considering Jeongin basically invited him into his house, considering his, and his grandfather's apartment was directly connected to the store below.

"That's okay, I'll just grab what I need and head off–."

As if summoned by fate itself, Felix dashed down the stairs behind the register and stopped like a deer in headlights upon seeing Changbin. He collected himself a bit before giving a shy wave, Changbin returning one with a smile before heading off to gather a few items. He heard bickering as he walked behind the aisle, undoubtedly coming from Jeongin and Felix.

"Yah Jeongin! Why didn't you tell me he was here?!"

"I'm working? What did you want me to do? Leave while people come and shoplift just so I can tell you your crush is here?"
"You have a phone smartass, and I don't have a crush on him! I only spoke to him for the first time yesterday!"

"Yeah yeah whatever, don't come crying to me when he shows up with someone else and you get jealous."

"Shut up!"

Changbin hadn't heard what they were whispering about but he laughed at their antics.

What a cute boy.
