When Changbin arrived home that night he was tired as all hell. The music of the club seemed to pound in his ears, echoing the noise back to him in an endless loop of misconfiguration and confusion. Fresh air, he thought, yes, that's what he needed. Opening the window, the last thing he expected to see was the same purple haired boy from earlier, lying down on the dewy grass. It had been hours since he had last seen him and there was a very probable chance that he hadn't moved in that time. Now wide awake and seemingly fully sober, Changbin threw on a hoodie and rushed down the stairs of his apartment complex to where the boy lay.

The first thing Changbin did was check if he was breathing. The rise and fall of his chest and the soft breaths that came from the boy confirmed it for him.

The second thing Changbin did was try and shake him awake. Getting no response, he tried harder. And harder again. The boy's eyes fluttered a bit before closing again, letting out a soft hum.

Oh boy, Changbin thought to himself. How could he be so careless, leaving himself out in the open like this? Anyone could come pick his pockets! Sighing for the nth time, he picked up the boy's arm and slung it around himself, grabbing the boy's side slightly and lifting him off the ground.

Shaken awake by the strangers grabs at his clothes, Felix jolted awake and threw his arm up, trapping Changbin's arm in his and twisting it behind his back, completely paralysing the black-haired male who was now kneeling and yelling in pain.

"Who the fuck are you and what are you doing?!" Felix yelled.

"Felix it's me! Changbin!" He yelled back, holding the joint of his shoulder.

"The dude from the corner store?"

"Yes you idiot, now let me go!" Complying with his request, Felix dropped his arm and moved away, giving Changbin room to stand up. He didn't, however and collapsed on the grass, squeezing the joint as low groans escaped past his lips.
"Jesus Christ Felix! What the fuck?"

"Sorry I thought you were trying to kidnap me or something." Felix said, kneeling down next to Changbin. "Here, let me do that."

Felix used both his hands to soothe the pain in Changbin's shoulder, making him whine with the pain.

"Calm down you big baby, I'm just trying to help."

"Yeah after you assaulted me!"

"It was instinct! What were you trying to do anyway?"

Changbin flushed red. What was he trying to do? What would he have done if Felix hadn't woken up?
"I uh–, I saw you here and I came to check if you were dead, and then you weren't waking up when I shook you so I was going to take you to my place so at least you wouldn't get robbed by random passerbyers."

"Oh I'm sorry I must've fallen asleep while waiting for Jeongin. But uh, thank you I guess."

"Your friend?"

"Yeah yeah, his shift finishes in..." he paused to check the time on his phone as it neared 10:40. "10 minutes ago so he should be here soon."

Felix squinted into the darkness in the direction of the shop when he saw his friend walking over to him.

"Ah he's here now."

Jeongin soon walked over to join him, eyeing the short man standing next to Felix.

"Hey hyung, hey Changbin," he said, giving him a wave.

"Wait, you guys know each other?" Felix said, eyes wide in shock.

"Yeah he goes to my grandpa's shop all the time," Jeongin explained.

"It's true, he has the best selection of snack food in all of Seoul," Changbin responded, ruffling the youngest's hair who whined.

"Anyway, what are you two doing together?" Jeongin asked the two who exchanged worried glances.

"It's kind of a long story..." Felix started.

<...>

"And he demobilised you?" Jeongin was rolling on the ground snorting with laughter as Changbin scolded him.

"Yah shut up! I don't need the whole world to know!"

Felix let out a small chuckle beside him and Changbin faced him.

"You think this is funny? You assaulted me! That shit hurt" Changbin stood in disbelief and scoffed.

"Hyung it was kinda funny," Jeongin chimed in while Changbin rolled his eyes.

"Where did you learn to do that anyway?"

"I have 63 medals in taekwondo," Felix shrugged. Changbin kept being more and more shocked by the boy in front of him. A taekwondo master and a good person? Jeez. He was almost unreal.

"Anyway it's getting late so I should head off," Changbin said.

"Okay hyung," Jeongin said. "We can walk you home so you're safe. 3 is better than one and by the way Felix took you down, I'm not so sure you should be walking alone in the dark."

Changbin was so fed up with the disrespect.

"You are such a brat. But no need, I live right here," Changbin said, pointing to the apartment that sat behind him.

"Which one is yours?"

"The one with the big window."

"Ahhh okay! We'll see you around then?"

"Yeah sure, I need to go shopping tomorrow so I'll probably see you," he ruffled Jeongin's hair again. "tomorrow. "

"Sure thing shorty!" Jeongin yelled as he grabbed Felix and started walking away, leaving a distressed Changbin in his wake.

"I'm older than you! Have some respect!" He got a wave in return.

What a mischievous boy.
