Changbin unlocked the door to his place. It was almost foreign to him. He had spent the last two weeks at Felix's place, opting to stay with his boyfriend instead of his boring and lifeless apartment. He was almost surprised to see Chan laying on his bed. Almost.

"Chan, why are you here?"

The boy in question swore in surprise.

"Changbin! You're home!"

"Yep, so why are you here?"

"I was waiting for you!"

"Please don't tell me you have more stories about Jeongin," the younger prayed.

"I do but that's not the point. Where have you been for two weeks?"

"I was staying at Felix's."

"Oh. Oh," Chan said mischievously.

"Oh shove off you homo, it wasn't like that."

"Yeah sure, you're just alone with your boyfriend for 2 weeks and didn't do anything? You guys did make it official, right?"

"Yes we did make it official and no, we didn't do anything so get your mind out of the gutter."

"Fine fine."

There was a pregnant pause.

"So can I tell you about Jeongin now–?"

"Get out of my house."

<...>

Changbin had ended up listening to Chan's rants about the young boy. He would never admit it aloud but he really enjoyed listening to the older talk about his dates and cute moments with Jeongin. It made him happy that Chan had found someone to take care of him and share feelings with. As much as he said he didn't like his best friend, he wondered if Jeongin would slowly claim all his time. Chan would stop appearing randomly at Changbin's house as he'd go to Jeongin's instead. He wouldn't talk to him about Jeongin anymore. Wouldn't come to him for advice.

"-And then he-, Binnie, are you okay?"

Chanbin snapped his head up, tears cascading down his cheeks and blurring his vision.

"Hey hey, what's wrong?" Chan said, sitting down next to Changbin and throwing both arms around him, pushing his head gently into the crook of his own neck.

"Please don't leave me," Chanbin sobbed.

"What do you mean Binnie? I would never leave you." Chan was confused. Where did this come from?

"You're gonna go hang out with Innie all the time and you won't have any time for me anymore and I won't wake up and see your stupid face when I open my door cause you forgot your key cause you'll be doing that to Innie instead! I'm just scared you're going to think I'm useless and leave me because I'm no fun!" Changbin wailed, his words scoring marks into Chan's heart.

"Hey Bin come on, you know I'd never do that. Yeah sure, I might hang out with Innie a bit more but that doesn't mean you're any less important to me. I love you Bin and I would never leave you."

Changbin couldn't reply so he just shoved his face further into Chan's neck. He hadn't cried like this in a while and he didn't know where it came from. I guess it was just one of those days.

"Ah sorry," Changbin said, pulling away after a while and wiping his eyes.

"It's okay Bin." Chan rubbed the younger's head lovingly. "You can't get rid of me that easily.

What a worrisome boy.
