Felix was over the moon. They had just arrived in the garden and Felix was speechless. The white snow on the leafless trees changed colours with the light, shimmering all shades of orange and red, like autumn had lagged into the winter. The lake beneath the bridge they stood on, reflected all the colours of the earth back at them, rippling with the drops of water spilling off the trees and the rush of the wind.

Changbin could see their reflection in the water and he couldn't hide his smile when he saw them together. Together. He felt an unimaginable warmth spread to his chest, illuminating his heart and making his head spin.

Felix seemed to have spotted something in the distance and grabbed Changbin's hand, dragging him along. Changbin could only focus on the feeling of Felix's hand in his own. It was warm in contrast to the cold air around them. Felix pointed excitedly to a small bird that sat in the tree, shaking its feathers to get the snow off.

He went to run off further into the garden but slipped on the icy path, dragging the older boy down with him. The pair fell down, disconnecting their hands to ensure a safe landing. Felix fell first, landing on the stony path and pulling Changbin to the side, making him land on Felix's side. The pair laughed as they helped each other up, shaking the ice off of themselves and asking if the other was okay.

After discovering no injuries, they continued. Changbin noticed Felix holding the side of his head.

"Did you hit your head?"

"Oh no don't worry, I just have a bit of a headache," Felix responded with a smile.

"That's not good, we can go to a pharmacy and get some medicine."

"Oh no that's okay, I have some at home. We'll finish up here and head home."

"Alright, just tell me if you feel worse."

"Binnie you're so cute."

"I am not!"

The two spent a little while longer looking around at all the plants and architecture before heading home. Upon arrival at Felix's house, they shook the snow off their jackets outside and hung them up on the coat rack that was waiting for them in the foyer. The warmth of the windless house greeted Changbin as his body relaxed.

"I'll turn the heater on," Felix spoke, pressing the button on the remote and moving to take some medicine from the cabinet.

"Ooh yes please."

Felix and Changbin took the opportunity to huddle together on the couch, watching some sort of anime on the TV.

"How's your head?" Changbin asked, patting the taller's hair and moving down to rub the sides of his head.

"It'll be better in a bit, I might have a nap though."

"Okay darling." Changbin used his hand to guide Felix's head towards his shoulder, giving the boy a chaste kiss on his forehead before turning back to the show.

Within a couple of minutes, Felix was snoring soundly beside him.

What a sleepy boy.
