It's Christmastime.
It's been years... years since Peter has donned the Spider-Man costume. Peter is now 24, and is married to Mary Jane. Not only this, they are expecting a child, a little girl who they've already named May. Gwen takes the streets as Ghost-Spider and makes sure that New York is safe. Harry has turned to drugs to deal with stress. Eddie Brock, a man who works at the Daily Bugle with Peter, has gone missing and no one has seen him in years. And now a new killer has taken over in the shadows, a man who calls himself the "Scarlet Killer".
All of this changes when a man comes to Peter for help, because he said something had been stolen from him: a revolutionary AI suit called V3N0M.
