On my way to my twenties,
The flood of realization has come,
It's been eighteen years since I was born,
And I'm throwing the mask of life that society has made me wear.

Though it hadn't been long since I was born,
Yet I came to know the mask of lies and falsehood people have worn.
I'd never become one of those people—
Was the vow I have sworn.

At eighteen, the world seems more like a delusion,
But still, I made my way out of the illusion.
I swore at thirteen to stay in mourn,
But I'm gonna break the silence of mourn.

Life has come ahead to show me
The dress it had worn,
And I too had decided to be the one.

On my way to my twenties,
Lots of realizations have come,
But I too have sworn
To be that change I once wished for.
