"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!" The alarm clock blared.
Y/N shut it off with a whack of her hand as she got up, yawned and sighed. Just another average Thursday in her boring life. Her sapphire cerulean azure blue orbs fluttered open as her luxurious golden platinum blonde hair fell over her face cutely. She looked at the clock brushing a few golden strands from her petite face.
"7:15?!?" She cried. "I-I-I-I w-w-was supposed to be up at 6:00!" Y/N flew out of bed and did her morning routine: taking a cold shower and blow drying her beautiful hair. Y/N dug through her dresser and hastily threw on her school uniform. She briefly stopped to look in her glittery full length mirror at her 4'11 petite quirky self. Y/N hated that her school made her wear a skirt because she was not boring and basic like the other girls. A baggy hoodie and leggings would have been much preferred.
"N-n-no wonder a-all the p-popular girls make fun of me, UwU." Y/N shuddered. "I-I-I'm s-so ugly.😭😭" Y/N said with her flowing hair and perfect fair skin. She suddenly remembered how late she was to school and hurried down the stairs. She cutely tripped into the kitchen because she's a clumsy UwU baka. She got up completely unscathed because plot convenience and grabbed a single piece of toast from the breakfast her mom had made.
"Good morning Y/N!" Said her mom who was sitting at the table. "Be careful going to school today, the news said there's going to be-"
"S-s-sorry mom! I-I-I-I h-have to go!" Y/N responded, hurrying out the front door and slamming it behind her.
"...a rainstorm. Oh dear, she didn't even grab her jacket." Y/N's mom sighed.
"That's the third time this week she's missed the bus, I should really start driving her there."
(THIS IS ALREADY PAINING ME TO WRITE and yes this Y/N has a normal mom who actually cares about her. Don't ask about her dad he just works a lot)
Y/N ran down the sidewalk as rain started to fall, her shining blonde hair flowing behind her beautifully. She didn't care that her hair would get wet on the way because she was a quirky gaslight gatekeep girlboss like that. She was on her way to Genericville Highschool where she would swoon over her crush Jæke and sing Fight Song from the rooftop when the popular girls bullied her. That is what would have happened. Y/N was too busy thinking about all of that to see where she was going. She then cutely slipped and fell-
✨Right into a conveniently placed magical rift.✨
"UWHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Y/N wailed as she plummeted into another world.
