"CC! I HAVE BAD NEWS!" Spyro called from overhead.
Chop Chop rushed through the courtyard as Spyro touched down and galloped to his friend.
"Y/N's GONE! I flew over the entire campus looking for her!"
"I was going to tell you- I haven't seen her either." Chop Chop said as he caught his breath. "I've searched the main building top to bottom! Wasn't she supposed to go back to her world today?"
"She WAS but she wasn't in her dorm when I went to go tell her!"
"You two looking for the Mesmerelda wannabe??" Stealth Elf chirped from behind.
The pair turned to see her leaning on a fencepost, somewhere she hadn't been seconds before.
"Hello Stealth Elf, of course we are." CC replied. "I'm not sure how much longer me, or the rest of the Academy can tolerate her staying here... ...or the magic of Skylands for that matter."
"I just got back from a conversation with Master Eon. You two remember how Flynn left to drop off Freeze Blade and Astroblast at a mission earlier this morning?" the ninja spoke with an eyebrow raised.
Spyro and Chop Chop stood frozen as the fearful realization came to them unanimously.
"oh no..." Spyro faltered.
꧁💠Meanwhile at Know It All Island💠꧂
"Alright, you two have fun bashing bad guys now!" Flynn called as he let the two Skylanders off his ship.
"You got it!" Astroblast said giving a thumbs up, before following Freeze Blade onto the island. The two were sent to intercept a horde of plant mutants that were attacking the local village.
"Alright now... where was my to-do list for today?" Flynn muttered as he looked around the control desk for the slip of paper. He bent down to check underneath-
-only to see a pair of brilliant blue eyes looking back at him.
"AAH!" Flynn yelped in surprise, jumping back. "HOW DID I NOT NOTICE YOU?!"
Y/N jumped up to face Flynn in conversation. "h-hi!" She said, giving a little wave.
"uh... OH- it's you. The ah, weird girl all the Skylanders have been complai- I mean talking about, right, right..." Flynn drawled. "Y/N, i believe is your name?"
Y/N nodded.
"Alright, well if ya haven't heard of me the name's Captain Flynn, A-K-A the greatest pilot in all of Skylands." he stated in his usual boastful tone.
"And what im wondering right now is... why did you sneak onto my ship?"
Y/N pouted and crossed her arms cutely.
"o-one of them was v-v-very m-mean yesterday! I-I-I-I want to prove myself!" She was about to take off onto the path before Flynn stood in her way.
"Now hold on, hold on, slow down there toots." the Mabu warned, holding up his hands in a "whoa there" gesture. "Let's backtrack for a sec."
