"You look like you are having a hard time brother. Need some help?" I offered. Without a reply, Elijah left the house swiftly.

Meanwhile, back at the Mikaelson house, questions arose within the Mikaelson family regarding Kol's behaviour. 'Would he listen to Elijah? No, would he even listen? How would he act to the news?' Their thoughts came to a pause when they heard Elijah's footsteps. Upon entering, Elijah was faced with bombarding questions by his siblings.

"So...how did he take it?" Finn asked, standing up from his seat. "Was he agitated? Did he look nervous? No scratch that, is he okay? Did he look okay?"

Elijah extended his hands–palms facing downwards as a gesture of reassurance. "Kol is fine," he said calmly. "In fact, he was taunting me with blood while I was telling him to put an end to his activities."

"Bloody hell Elijah, why didn't you just tell him to get his act together so that we can ALL leave Dorathna and set off before Mikael comes," Klaus complained exasperatedly.

Upon hearing the word, Elijah stiffened.

Approaching closer, Klaus looked into Elijah's eyes and inquired, "You did mention that he was coming back to Kol, right?"

"Of course not," Elijah confessed. "Do you want him to go on another rampage at a time like this?!"

Under his breath, Klaus muttered with a fix of frustration and annoyance, "Well I bloody hope not, but who knows with Kol," clasping his hand on his nose bridge before swiftly letting it fall to his hip.

"Oh will you two just bloody zip it!" Rebekah scolded, her gaze shifting between both her brothers. "While you two are bickering our brother could be out there, causing more trouble when the plan is to leave discreetly."

"She is right, you know?," Finn replied, joining the conversation.

Looking at Finn, Klaus questions him, "Well, how do you suppose we go about it then?"

Taking a scrap of paper and a pen, Finn begins to draw out his plan. "I propose we do it like this..."

As Finn explains, the rest of the siblings gather around. Finishing his proposal, Finn asks "What do you think?"

"It's good." Elijah commented.

"When should we do it?" Rebekah asks.

"I reckon sun down," Klaus interjected. "That way we can leave without being seen when night falls," he explains, looking at Elijah, Rebekah and Finn, who nodded.

Third perspective

The following evening, Finn caught up with Kol before he disappeared.

Kol's perspective

"What is it?" I asked.

"I was wondering if we could have a small chat together," Finn replied.

"Now? Sure." I responded, arms crossed, waiting patiently.

"That was easier than expected," Finn spoked, scratching his neck.

"So...what did you want to talk about?" I asked.

"There is no easy way to say this..." Finn trailed off.

"-You got pregnant," I replied quickly, cutting Finn off before he finished speaking.

"What?! Finn shouted. "No, I-"

"You turned into a witch," I said boredly.

"What is wrong with you?" Finn replied.

"I became a vampire," grinning at my response.

"That's not what I am here for Kol," Finn admitted.

"Sure you're not," I replied sarcastically, looking at him up and down. "So what's the real reason then?"

"Can't I have a heart-to-heart talk with my brother?" Finn questioned.

"Well, technically, we are dead," as I pointed at both of us. "So I don't see how that works, but what's up?" I asked Finn, planting myself on the nearest seat.

"I was wondering if you could show me your approach to drinking blood? Lately, I have been feeling thirsty and you know how Elijah and Rebekah are with the whole situation," Finn revealed.

Reminiscing at the times when Elijah and Rebekah looked disgusted when I came home stained in blood or saw me drinking bodies until they lay limping, I nodded in agreement.

Looking at Finn, I smirked. "Why didn't you tell me sooner? I can show you now. In fact-" standing up instantly, "Let's go!"

"I knew I could count on you," Finn replied, smiling. "Come here, Kol" he gestured.

"For what?" I questioned, weirded out by his sudden order.

"A hug."

"Oh," I replied, surprised. Scooting closer, I patted him for a few seconds before trying to release myself from his hold. "Ahh, Finn, I'm done."

"I am sorry Kol," Finn replied.

"It is all good," I responded, as I attempted the second time to release from his grip.

"Not for that. For this."

Confused, I tilted my head and was about to reply when I felt my back hurting suddenly. Before I can look down and find the source of my pain, Finn lifts my face up and gazes at me.

Suddenly feeling nauseous and tired, my vision blurred and my surroundings became shaky before fading to darkness as I fell forward on my brother. The last thing I heard was Finn's voice saying he was sorry. 'What was he sorry for?' I thought before my consciousness slipped away into the void.
