The box came to a halt once again and the sound of machinery working together died down. This time, however, the doors were half opened and half closed. 'Interesting.'

Leaving the box for the first time, my feet touched the soft grass and I felt the warm sunlight shine on me. Entering the house I was familiar with, I watched the scene unfold. It was another version of me, standing there and drinking blood from things. Blood. How long has it been since I consumed blood? The intoxicating scent of blood, sweeter than lollies, failed to override my current self's judgment. Nor, evoke a longing within me. 'How strange.'

I observed the scene of Elijah entering the house and scolding the other me before leaving. It was quite rude of him to not close the door. Supposed "gentleman" he was. Following from behind, I recognised where Elijah went - our house. Why is he going here? Fortunately, for some reason, when Elijah entered, our other brothers and sister didn't notice me. The one time I am fine with no attention on me, I smirked.

"So...how did he take it?" Finn asked, standing up from his seat. "Was he agitated? Did he look nervous? No scratch that, is he okay? Did he look okay?"

How interesting. This is the first time I am hearing of this.

Elijah extended his hands–palms facing downwards as a gesture of reassurance. "Kol is fine," he said calmly. "In fact, he was taunting me with blood while I was telling him to put an end to his activities."

'Not my fault you didn't want food,' I thought while grinning, shaking my head.

"Bloody hell Elijah, why didn't you just tell him to get his act together so that we can ALL leave Dorathna and set off before Mikael comes," Klaus complained exasperatedly. Upon hearing the word, Elijah stiffened.

My cheerful composure stiffened at the mention of his name. 'Why didn't Elijah mention him to me?' My oncoming thoughts were interrupted by Elijah's sheer anger.

-"Of course not," Elijah confessed. "Do you want him to go on another rampage at a time like this?!"

'I would have still listened,' I thought glumly.

Under his breath, Klaus muttered with a fix of frustration and annoyance, "Well I bloody hope not, but who knows with Kol," clasping his hand on his nose bridge before swiftly letting it fall to his hip.

"Oh will you two just bloody zip it!" Rebekah scolded, her gaze shifting between both her brothers. "While you two are bickering our brother could be out there, causing more trouble when the plan is to leave discreetly."

I smirked at my sister's appearance. You can always count on her to make a move.

...Looking at Finn, Klaus questions him, "Well, how do you suppose we go about it then?"

Taking a scrap of paper and a pen, Finn begins to draw out his plan. "I propose we do it like this... "

Curious, I joined in circling around Finn. It wasn't like they could see or touch me. I was like a ghost. Listening to Finn, my face paled and my eyes widened.

"I will lure Kol with the intention of wanting to talk to him. When he least expects it, I will ask him for a hug. Thinking it will be random, Kol will let his guard down and in the moment of hugging him, I will dagger him with a stake."

'So everything was a lie..?! No no No! That can't be.' I thought. 'He worries about me too much,' recalling his earlier worry of me.

Scanning at the button pressed, I pressed it again. 'There's something wrong. Must be a glitch.'

The scene opens with my siblings gathering around Finn as he pulls out a paper and pen. Listening in again, "I will lure Kol with the intention of wanting to..."

Before letting Finn finish, I pressed the button again. Sorry not sorry.

-"I will lure Kol with the intention of wanting to..."

And again.

-"I will lure Kol with the intention of wanting to..."

And again.

"I will lure Kol with the intention of wanting to..."

'So it wasn't a glitch,' I frowned. Leaving the scene to finish, I watched as Finn nodded afar to Elijah to signal the plan. Swiftly, he moved from behind and with both hands daggered the other me in the back. With a slump, the other me fell on Finn.

'Why would they do this,' I thought. I paced around the box in circles.'There is no way they would kill me. I mean they should know how it feels to be betrayed. To be betrayed by your own blood. Hell, mother and father did it. So why now?'

Lost in my contemplation, the scene continued on and, suddenly, I found myself transported inside a ship. The forest has disappeared, replaced by wooden, creaky flooring beneath my feet as I stepped outside the box.

Looking around, the sound of footsteps grew louder. In front of me were my brothers Klaus and Finn, and sister Rebekah, dropping me inside a coffin on the ground. While, Elijah was scanning the ship for any witnesses.

I am actually dead. And somehow, I am simultaneously living and dead in a coffin, looking at myself and another person with the same face, sleeping in a coffin.

The scent of mortal blood filled my nostrils. Someone is in here with them - technically us.

-The mortal spoke - "Who the hell are you demons?"

-"We're vampires darling, The original vampiress– Rebekah, Elijah, Finn, our brother Kol–May he rest in peace– And our half-brother Niklaus."

-The mortal gulped.

-"Sir, would you be so good as to tell us where it is that we have arrived?" Elijah asked.

-"The French colony of Louisiana. Off the shores of a town they've named New Orleans.'

"I hope they revive me soon. I am bored - no offence box", I murmured while looking at the interior of the box.

Unbeknownst to me at the time, I was wrong. So wrong.

Suddenly, I felt liquid dropping and blending into the ground of the steel box. Why am I bloody crying? As I made contact with the tears gliding with my finger tips, the liquid gleamed under the light of the box.

Third perspective

Meanwhile, in the present, in an enclosed room, laid a coffin in the centre of the room, covered in cobwebs and dust. Within the coffin laid the physical body of Kol, small droplets of water leaving his eyes.
