Kol's perspective
Standing tall, I gracefully bow. "Ladies, gentlemen and children, " I voice with a hint of amusement. Looking into each pair of eyes and giving a wink to Klaus, I continue, "Allow me to reintroduce myself - Kol Mikaelson, not at your service."

His eye twitches at the look of my appearance. Standing abruptly, hands clasped to the side of the table, Klaus says, "Where's Elijah and Finn?"
"Not here." I replied coolly.
Swiftly moving from his seat to in front of me, Klaus grabs me by the collar and says. "Tell me. Now."
"In a room where I" - dragging my thumb across my neck - died", I smirked. "Slept, I mean."
His eyes enlarged. "RebeKAH!" he yelled.
"You don't need to tell me. I am on it," Rebekah scoffed, before zooming out of the dining room, her eyes gazing at me as she passed by.
My eyes were staring at the delicacy in front of me.
"Is that pie?" I asked, no one.
"Not for you," Klaus growled.
"Too late," I replied, swiftly removing myself from his hold and lunging towards the pie. My eyes glee in joy as I savour each bite.
"Nice to see you, Marcel," I greeted before casting my eyes to the remaining pies.

Third perspective
In the meantime, Rebekah follows the scent of blood traveling through the air, that was no doubt, coming from her brothers. Entering a not-so-hidden entrance, Rebekah walks into the darkness. Inside the basement, she sees a vague silhouette of two people on the ground. Focusing on the bodies, her eyes sharpened. There laid her older brothers, daggered.
Quickly approaching them, Rebekah removes both daggers one-by-one. She stands and waits for them to wake up.

While Rebekah went to find her missing brothers, Kol was under a somewhat investigation by his only (half) sibling left in the dining room.
Kol's perspective
-"It was for defence." I said, while eating pie. "Actually, to be more specific, I felt like it. How would you feel, if a sibling attacked you?" I asked Klaus, pointing with pie in my hand.
"Unbelievable," Klaus muttered under his breath, his voice tinged with frustration.
"I know," I smirked, watching Klaus getting more frustrated.
Hope giggled. In response, I dramatically bowed in her direction.
Seeing Klaus's face twitch in annoyance was fun. Shame it didn't last long when Rebekah returned with Finn and Elijah.
"How have you been?" I asked Finn and Elijah, feigning ignorance.
"Could have been better," Elijah replied, adjusting his sloppy coat.
"Now that everyone is here, what's the deal?" I spoke.
"We have a problem," Elijah confessed.
"I know, you told me when I woke up involuntarily, which, by the way, was so uncalled for." I said, sternly.
Klaus began to speak, "Do you remember Lucien?"
"The guy we let go of instead of killing him when we got the chance to? Yeah, I remember him."
"Well, recently, he has acquired special powers from some witch and is wrecking havoc in New Orleans. "
"What does that have to do with me?" I said, in a composed manner.
"We need someone to monitor him to ensure he doesn't disturb the peace of New Orleans," Finn added.
"So, you woke me up to...to go babysit him?" I said, in a straight-forward tone.
"Not, exactly but, yes." Finn, confirmed.
Glaring at him, I looked back at Klaus, who nodded slightly.
"Why can't Rebekah, Finn, Elijah, Marcel or Hayley do this?" I questioned, glancing at the other supernatural beings in the room, excluding myself.
"Rebekah is out of question - you know how she is...unpredictable. She might be a catalyst to Lucien's outrage." Klaus unveiled.
"HEY!" Rebekah yelled at him.
Klaus continued on.
"Finn has his own mission to carry out."
"Elijah is not trustworthy enough to take the role. I thought of him, but...after what he did," looking at me up and down - "I wouldn't be surprised if he turned against me."
"Marcel is well-known around here. If he uses his army of people to monitor Lucien, it will draw suspicion."
"And Hayley needs to be here so she and Hope are safe."
"In other words, you need someone who is dispensable in case Lucien goes insane." I said, staring into space.
'You are nothing to them.'
"You are twisting our words, Kol," Elijah admonished.
'I am nothing to them.'
"Is that so?" I chuckled. "Who am I to you then?" I replied, challenging Elijah's authority.
While I was waiting for a response from him, Finn intercepted the silence with, "So, will you do it?"
'You are just a pawn to them'
'I am just a pawn to you'
"If it's an order, I will do it." I said in a collected manner. Gone was my cheerful demeanour.
'I won't be your puppet forever'
My field of vision was blocked by Hayley. "Family fight for each other. Always and Forever. Wouldn't you give your all to protect what you have?"
My siblings stood beside her with a determined look, as if I should join them.
'What is this? An ambush?'
Chuckling, I walked past them and whispered into Hayley's ear,
"Your oath haunts me more than Father'
before leaving the room.
