"Can we go now?" Mila asked. We had stopped at a restaurant in a town called Hargeon. The food was too delicious, I just couldn't leave! I gobbled up the last few bites of sushi and stood up.
"Fine. We can leave now." I said as I paid for the food. I picked up my bags and gestured towards the door. "Come on, we have a long way to go before we reach Magnolia." The bell on the restaurant door jingled as Mila pushed it open. We stepped out and inhaled the fresh air. We started walking towards the station when we saw an interesting shop. The sign read "Le Mirror." The shop was filled with many jewelry pieces and, of course, mirrors. I couldn't help but catch our reflections as we passed by. I stopped to look at the first reflection I saw. Mila didn't notice me stop and kept walking. "Hey!" I shouted towards her. She turned and I gestured towards her to join me. I pointed towards the mirror as she came closer. We both stared in silence as we looked at our reflections. On the left was a young girl with pink hair that was pulled back into corkscrew pigtails along with pink bangs.
She wore a white scarf and a blue/white wristband. She was wearing a bluish-green tank-top which bore a musical note on the chest area. Her skirt was short, wavy and a robin's egg blue color. Her shoes were brown, knee-high Converse. Her eyes were a mesmerizing golden-yellow and her smile went from ear to ear. That girl was me, Nalu Turbo Percy.
The other girl had long, straight brown hair with light brown highlights. Her shirt (a tank-top as well) was a pastel pink and bore a water drop (sewn on by herself) on the side. Her skirt was slightly longer than mine and uncovered most of her upper left thigh; her skirt was a periwinkle color and very wavy. She was wearing brown flats with two little black dots on the top of both shoes. Her eyes were a dark blue that matched her magic (which will be discovered) and her free spirit. That of course, was Mila. Mila Rose Percy.
We stood there, just staring at ourselves, just thinking "How did we become the beautiful girls we are today?" I snapped out of the thought and ushered Mila on. We had to get to Magnolia as soon as possible. Even if it meant riding a train.
