**3 month time skip**
It's been three months since the truth was revealed to the world. Natsu hasn't given any clue of being affected by the truth. He doesn't seem to care about the fact that he's Zeref's younger brother!
After I surrendered during my battle with Lucy, I quit Liberam and came back to Fairy Tail. Everyone was very happy to see me again, especially Frub and Mila.
"It's good to see you again." Frub said. He gently rubbed my arms.
"Yeah." I blushed.
We were about to kiss when a noise came from the other side of the guild. We looked over onl to see Natsu and the slow clapper, Hwajae Hono, arguing about something. I quickly rushed over to see what was going on.
"All I'm saying is that we shouldn't have let her back into the guild. For all we know, she could be trying to infiltrate this guild!" Hwajae shouted.
"She's still a member of this guild!" Natsu shouted in response. They butted heads before they finally noticed that I was watching.
"Do you remember what I called you while we were in Crocus?" I asked Hwajae.
"Oh yeah, you called me the slow-clapper. You never told me why you called me that." Hwajae added. I nodded my head. Of course she doesn't remember.
"Do you remember when Natsu and Lucy had their first kiss in front of everybody?" I asked. This question made Natsu and Lucy blush so hard, it looked like they were running out of air.
"Yeah I do remember. The whole guild was cheering while...I...wait..." Hwajae clarified.
"That's right. You were the only wizard that was clapping slowly." I added.
Natsu was still trying to comprehend what was going on and we all knew that it was pointless to try and explain everything to him.
"It's okay Natsu, not everyone is as smart as others." Lucy assured.
"You are a very subtle person Lucy." I affirmed.
**a few minutes later**
"Listen Nalu, I'm sorry about what I was saying earlier. I really shouldn't have said that about you." Hwajae apologized. She was sorry but she wasn't going to cry. I've heard some rumors about her, well, only one rumor. No one has ever seen a single tear drop leave her eyes. Hwajae is a strage wizard, that is why she fits in perfectly at Fairy Tail.
"Don't beat yourself up over it. I understand completely." I reassured her. She looked up and the sadness was now gone.
A loud screech came from the direction of the stage. We all looked up and noticed the master was standing on the stage. He was accompanied by Erza and Mira.
"What's this all about?" Hwajae asked.
"I think that he's about to tell us." I replied.
"This is for the great performance in the games and our tough trial on Tenrou island!" The master announced through a floating microphone. Mira walked up to the master and handed him aa envelope. He pulled a paper out and begaan to read what was on the slip.
"May these two wizardds come up on stage? Nalu Percy and Hwajae Hono!" The master shouted.
Hwajae and I got up and proceeded towards the stage. When we approached the steps, we stopped and looked at each other out of curiosity of what was going on. We both nodded and continued up the steps until we were staring out at a vast of guild members.
"These two wizards have shown the love and care that represents the meaning of this guild. They have both fought meaningful battles and have returned to the warm and loving care of the guild. They both strayed onto the path of darkness at one point but stepped back on the path of light." The master continued to speak. Everyone's eyes were filled with tears of joy as the master spoke about our troubled journeys. No one in the guild knew what was going on, except for the master, Mira, and Erza.
"Master, do you think we should move on to the main point?" Erza asked. He nodded and skipped the rest about our troubled journeys.
"And now, because of their strength and faith in the guild, I would like to officially give the rank of S- class to these two young wizards!" The master shouted once more. The entire guild was in shock/ Natsu was angry of course and Happy was in an extreme state of shock. But, after the news sunk into their minds, they began to cheer.
Afterwards, we had a huge celebration that lasted for hours. The best thing was that I had made a new friend. Mila and Frub had gotten to know her while I was away.
"I'm glad that you're finally back. Congratulations on becoming S-class." Mila acknowledged.
"You have no idea how much I've missed you Mila." I cried. I pulled her in for a big hug until Frub interrupted. Mila pushed him away with a really scary face. He stepped back and waited for the hug to be over. Mila grew tired of Frub waiting and decided to leave him alone with me and Hwajae.
"Congratulations on becoming S-class you two. I wish I could become S-class." Frub stated.
"You'll get there one of these days." Hwajae and I said in unison. Frub turned away and mumbled something to himself, not realizing that I have super hearing.
"I can't believe that I'm dating an S-class wizard!" Frub mumbled. I patted him on the back and exited the guild.
I walked into the middles of town and all the way to the cherry tree. I sat on one of the benches there and stared off into the beautiful red-orange sunset. It's been awhile since I've done this. I guess I was too busy focusing on returning Natsu's memories that I completely forgot about something as beautiful as this. To be honest, I haven't quite given up on that goal. I want Zeref and Natsu to be reunited as brothers but at the same time I don't want Natsu to leave the guild behind. My train of thought was interrupted when I heard footsteps approaching me.
"So, you made S-class?" A familiar voice asked.
I glanced up and noticed Natsu standing beside the bench.
"Yeah, I guess I did." I replied. I wanted to ask him if he was okay with everything but I didn't want to be rude.
"Listen Nalu, you don't have to worry about me. I'll be completely fine. That thing you said at the games doesn't bug me at all." Natsu reassured me.
"Okay."
As we both stared at the sunset, our minds were at ease and relaxed. Nothing can cool you down like a warm sunset.
