Lizzy Staton, a 16 year old girl born in Michigan, 2050. Lizzy is an interesting girl, she has a passion for writing and seems to have a skill for it. Lizzy can read a complex poem and understand the meaning behind it without a thought. Why am I telling you about a teenage girl? She was born with an abnormal ability, a “power” you could say. She can hear one year into the future, one year exactly. She has visions per say, where she can’t hear anything happening in current time and can only hear an event that takes place in the future. These visions last depending on how important the events are. The first major event that confirmed it was her fathers death.
2062 was the day she heard it. Her dad in his car driving to work, listening to 80s rock as he sang along. The car seemed to stop as she heard the engine sputter as the sound came to a stop, he began walking into his work building mumbling, seeming to rehearse for a presentation as he entered an elevator. The sounds she heard after sounded like a hurricane. She heard crashes and booms as her vision ended. A year after this occurred the worst event in her life came. She heard a knock on the door, she opened it and saw a police officer. Her dad had been crushed by an elevator due to a malfunction. This is how she confirmed her ability, by an event that stuck with her forever.
