Mapeh LAS #1  Impacts of Healthy Environment

Directions: Draw your dream community. You can use any coloring materials to make it colourful. Make a short description of your work and answer the following guide questions.

Description:

The dream community I want is having a neat and clean environment. And a community that has peace, shelter, education, food, income, a stable ecosystem, sustainable resources, social justice, and equity. Although in a medieval era.
Guide questions:

Is your dream community healthy? What characteristics of a healthy environment can be seen in your dream community?

Yes, it is a healthy community. The characteristics include a clean community with many trees, a clean rivers and lakes. All residents have access to a quality education and etiquettes, safe and healthy homes, adequate employment, physical activity, and nutrition, in addition to quality health care. That included positive culture, cleanliness of the environment, good and healthy plants and animals.

Based on the characteristics of a healthy environment, what are the direct positive impacts or effects to you, your family, and community?

Firstly I would grow up as a cheerful and innocent child with manners and etiquette.
Secondly Family relationships, between mother and child, father and child, and siblings are the first relationships we form in our lives. Positive relationships with parents and siblings help a child grow mentally, emotionally, and physically, whereas negative family relationships can have detrimental effects later in life.
Thirdly Hiring employees who value community infuses your company’s culture with a charity-oriented mindset. Encourage your staff to pursue their passion to help others by starting a program that allows them flexible hours a few times a month to leave early or come in later while they volunteer with a local nonprofit. You can even up the ante by donating a designated amount when your employees have volunteered a certain number of hours there.

Is acquiring a healthy environment relevant? Why?
Yes, it is relevant because keeping the community healthy can prevent sickness and death.

Mapeh LAS #2  Nature or Environmental Issues

Guide Questions:

What are the environmental issues mentioned in the poem?
Populations that people created, Dying forest and rivers, Bottles, plastics, and trash on the  beach.

What can you do to solve these issues?
Voluntarily help to clean the environment. Show kindness to Earth, and care for what Earth gave to us.

Choose one stanza from the poem. Give three (3) sentence reactions on this. Why did you choose this stanza??
“ So take time on Earth day, to show the Earth you care”
1.Relaxed- I gave a comforting relaxation out of my soul, every time i was in a cool and quiet place.

2.Happiness- I feel happy when it comes to planting various types of plants and flowers.
Freedom- I feel freed from chains that surround my whole body. When feeling the bond between me and Earth’s nature.

3.Disappointed- Almost half of the human population didn’t care about the environments that’s happening around them. And make the environment/population even worse.

Why did I choose this stanza?

Well because, as the stanza says. ‘Take time on Earth’ and ‘Show the Earth you care’.
To my perspective it says. “Bond your soul with Earth, and show how you care and love Earth.”         That is why I chose this stanza.
The stanza is saying to us that we should care about Earth, and give love to Earth. Because that is the only way we can repay Earth for nature, minerals, lands, oceans, foods, etc. that Mother Earth gave to us.
