How can dance be a health-enhancing physical activity?
There are many forms of physical activity that can improve our overall health and well-being, and dance is undoubtedly one of them. Unlike other forms of exercise, dance can also be a fun and enjoyable way to get moving that lets us forget we are even working out. Whether it is salsa, hip hop, or ballroom dancing, every type of dance has its unique physical benefits that make it an excellent addition to any fitness regimen. Plus, since dance is a social activity, it has an additional benefit of promoting social interactions that contribute to our mental wellbeing. Including dance into our physical activity routine can positively impact our overall health.
