Criss was doing some work in his office when Rachel came in. "Hey what's going on Johnny looks so sad?". "I got a call from Shaunyl's lawyer she gave up her rights to Johnny". "That's so sad" Rachel stated. "I know". "Do you want me to talk to him?" she asked. "Not right now". "OK I'm going to meet Zak for lunch" and she left before giving him a kiss.

After she left Johnny walked into his father's office. "You all right buddy?". "Yes, and I just thought of a gift I can give Rachel and Zak on their birthday," Johnny remarked. "I'm going to ask Rachel to be my mommy and Zak to be my uncle". "You mean Rachel adopts you and she'll be your legal mom". Johnny nodded. "That's going to be a great gift and I'll help you with it too" Criss replied as he gave his son a hug.

At lunch Rachel told Zak about Johnny. "That's sad but, after leaving him in a hospital alone when he was sick wasn't good parenting" Zak replied. "I'm going to talk to Criss and see what he thinks of me adopting Johnny so I can be his legal parent". "I think that's a great idea. You act like a mother to him as you do to Matthew and Patrick" Zak replied.

"Before I forget Criss is throwing us a birthday party" Rachel stated. "It kind of pissed me off that we couldn't spend our birthday together last year because I had to film", Zak stated. "I have to get back to the museum. We'll talk later" and they left. A couple of weeks went by, and they were throwing a party for Zak and Rachel. "Happy birthday buddy" Aaron said hugging him.

"I don't get a hug Aaron?"Rachel inquired as Aaron gave her one too. "All right time for presents!!!" Criss called out. Zak and Rachel sat down as they open their gifts. While they did that Criss went to get Johnny. "Where did Criss go?" Nancy inquired. "Here am I, Johnny has a special gift to give to Rachel and Zak" and gave them both envelopes. Rachel opens hers first.

RACHEL,

EVEN THOU YOU DIDN'T GIVE ME LIFE LIKE MY REAL MOMMY. YOU'VE BEEN A GREAT MOMMY TO ME AND YOU MADE ME HAPPY JOINING THIS FAMILY, SO I WOULD LIKE YOU TO BE MY MOMMY.

Tears started to fall down Rachel's face as she gave Johnny a hug. "I'd be honored to adopt you" and gave him a kiss. "Why don't you open yours Zak" Criss remarked. He opens the envelope and starts to read it.

ZAK,

THROUGH THE TIME YOU'VE COME INTO MY LIFE. YOU'VE MADE FEEL LIKE I WAS A PART OF THE BAGAN'S FAMILY. EVEN WITH OUR SECRET BOND YOU'VE MADE ME HAPPY THAT YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE BEEN THROUGH WITH MY CANCER, SO I WOULD LOVE IT WHEN YOUR SISTER ADOPTS ME THAT I CAN CALL YOU UNCLE ZAK.

Zak started to tear up as well and asked Johnny to come over to him. "Johnny, you didn't need to ask for permission to call me uncle. Like I told you I consider you my nephew as much as Patrick and Matthew are, so you can call me Uncle Zak" and gave Johnny a hug as Criss wiped tears from his face.

After the party Rachel went over to Criss. "You knew what Johnny's present was didn't you?". "He asked me to help with it and I knew you would tear up, but Zak the only time I saw him tear up is when your father passed away". "I think Johnny's gift surprised Zak as much as it did to me" she stated. "Now it's my turn to give you my birthday gift, since the kids are having a sleep over with your mother" as Criss winked. He picked up Rachel and put her over his shoulder. Rachel chuckled as he took her to the bedroom.
