Zak was at a jewelry store with Billy. "I can't believe you're going to ask Rose to marry you" Billy stated. "If I can find the right ring" looking at them but not finding the right one. "You should of brought your mother with you"Billy suggested. "My mother has a difficult time keeping secret so if I brought her here, she might tell Rose"Zak replied. "I'm going to get a drink" Billy stated and left. Zak sighed and decided to leave when Patti walked in. "Zak, I had a feeling you were here". "Patti maybe you can help me with something". "You want to buy an engagement ring for my daughter," as Zak snickered. "Don't worry Zak I'll keep it a secret". When Billy came back Zak was waiting for him.
"So did you find a ring for Rose?". "Yeah" and showed it to him. "She's going to love that Zak" as he shut the box. "I hope so"Zak remarked. That night Zak was waiting for Rose at the haunted museum Zak was so nervous that it felt like the ring was burning a hole in his pocket. A car pulled up and Rose got out as Zak walked over to her. "Hey Rose"Zak remarked kissing her. "Hey baby what are we doing at your museum"she inquired. "I wanted to try something with you and me" he replied. "I'm getting chills Zak". "Don't worry" and they went in. When they came in Rose looked around. Then they heard some sounds from the basement. "Come on" and they went down. Whey got down there Rose saw a Ouija board in a circle of candles. "Zak what do you have up your sleeve?".
"Come on". They got inside the circle and sat down. Zak, I feel positive energy right now" Rose stated. "I had your mom bless the candles to keep the bad energy out" Zak replied as she smiled. They put their hand on the planchette as Zak asked a question. It started to move as the word spelled out is Vinnie. Zak almost started to tear up as he took a breath. "Your father is here with us" Rose guessed. "I've been feeling him a lot lately"Zak replied. Then the planchette started to move again and it spelled out Connie. "Who's Connie?"Zak inquired as a tear fell down her face. "Patti isn't my mother by blood but she's my stepmother. My mother died when I was young, but I could feel her around her like you feel your father. When my dad met Patti, I could feel so much energy towards her and my dad that I could see them getting married which they did. Then years later my dad died of Leukemia, so he put in his will that Patti would raise me. Zak your nose is dripping blood".
Zak got up and took a handkerchief out of his pocket. "You all right?" Rose asked as Zak wiped the blood away. "I've never told many people this but when I was eight years old, I had Leukemia too. I went into remission, but it came back I did some ill-advised things that I had to have a bone marrow transplant"Zak admitted. "Who matched you?". "My father"Zak stated. Then some of the candles went out so they went back to the Ouija board and the planchette was moving on its own. "What's it saying?"Zak inquired. "It's saying : WILL U MARRY ME?". She looked up and saw Zak holding a ring.

"Oh Zak I will marry you"Rose stated as she hugged him. The next day Zak was on the phone with his mother. "Yes, mom she said yes I'm not kidding mom. Talk to you later" as the guys came over. "So, Rose said yes to you congrates man". Zak said nothing and went outside. Outside Zak was thinking as Rose showed up. "Rose what are you doing here?". "I could feel you were holding back something last night at the proposal"she remarked. "Rose I've never ever told this to anyone expect my father and my mother, but I can't give you a child biological. The bone marrow transplant". Zak nodded as tears fell down his face.
I had to get radiation to kill all the bad marrow, but it came with a price. Rose if you want to give back the ring I'll understand" Zak replied. She looked at Zak and put her hand on his face. "Zak if it happens that we have a child than it will be a miracle, and we can always adopt a child when the time is right, so I still want to marry you no matter what the future hold"she stated. Zak smiled as he kissed her. Before everyone knew it Zak and Rose got married at The Stanley Hotel. As Zak and Rose did their first dance Zak looked up at the balcony and saw his father smiling and Rose saw her parents smiling as well.
