It's early in the morning and Rachel and Criss were sleeping when Patrick came in and started to shake his mom. She woke up as Johnny came in. "Guys what's wrong?"she asked as Criss woke up as well. "It's Gracie she won't wake up"Johnny stated. They both got up and went in their room to see Gracie just lying under a desk. She checked for a pulse as Criss checked for any breathing. They both knew Gracie had passed away. Rachel wiped the tears from her face as Criss hugged her. "Why don't you wrap her up and put her in the garage for now". Criss nodded and went to get a sheet as the boys including Matthew came over. "Is Gracie sick?"Patrick stated. "Why don't we go into my room for a minute?" she suggested, and they went to their room. After Criss put Gracie in the garage Rachel came out.
"So how did they take it?". "They're sad I asked mom to come over. Now I have to break the news to Zak" holding her phone. "Yeah, I'm going to give you some privacy" and Criss went upstairs. At a lockdown the guys were having breakfast when Zak's phone went off. He saw it was Rachel, so he took it outside. "Hey Rachel, how's everything". "Zak, I have some bad news for you. Gracie passed away last night in her sleep"Rachel said. Zak sat down. "How are the boys?". "They're upset I asked mom to come down for some emotional support. Zak what would you like for me and Criss to do with Gracie's body?". "I-I-I don't know" as tears started to fall down his face. "Zak I was thinking how about we cremate her and do something special with her ashes". "All right I'll be home soon" and hung up. Zak started to cry as Aaron and the guys heard everything.
After a while Zak came back in and saw his luggage waiting for him. Not saying anything each of the guys gave him a hug. "Gracie is with your family now"Aaron whispered in his ear. Zak smiled and left. A few hours passed and Criss and Rachel were going to the vet to cremate Gracie when a taxi pulled up. Rachel turned around and saw Zak. He walked into the garage as Criss and Rachel gave him a hug. "You just made it we were taking her to our vet"Criss said. "Can I see her?" Zak inquired. "Sure". Criss lifted the sheet off her face as tears fell down Zak's face. He took off her collar and kissed her on her nose. "Thanks" Zak said putting the collar in his pocket. A few days passed and Zak was just sitting in his house thinking as he just held Gracie's collar in his hand. A knock came to the door so Zak got up and went to the door. He opened it to see Patrick, Matthew, and Rachel. "What are you doing here?". "We decided to honor Gracie and we know where"Patrick stated. "Right where I took this picture"Rachel replied giving Zak the picture. (IT'S THE PICTURE ABOVE)
Zak said nothing as he smiled. "Come on guys" and they left. At the site the sun was setting so they all got up and each took some of the ashes. "You ready guys"Zak asked. "Yes good-bye Gracie you were a great protector to us"Patrick stated. "To a dog who I loved giving hugs too" Matthew said. "You be miss girl"Rachel remarked. Zak looked up at the sky. "Take care of her, grandmom and dad"Zak said as tears fell down his face. They threw the ashes in the air and watched as the wind took it away while tears fell down their faces.
