Florence hadn't spoken to Daryl since she kissed him, she was absolutely mortified with what she did and did everything that she could to avoid being near him. She was constantly leaving the prison, she did not want to talk to Daryl about the kiss, and she was worried about what he would say or do when she faced him about what went down.

The brunette left the prison to go searching for things that could be used in medicines, she left a note before leaving early in the morning, and Florence began heading deep into the trees, knowing that's where the better things would be. Florence killed a couple of walkers, had an entire basket full of different things and found a couple of chickens roaming around which was a delightful surprise. Florence stuffed them into a bag she found, knowing that shortly the chickens would be dead for food anyways, Florence headed back to the prison as it started to become darker.

The girl entered the prison, glancing at the others as they finished off putting walker bodies away, Florence handed the bag of chickens to Rick and glanced at Daryl as he grabbed her arm. He had an unreadable look in his eyes, Florence glanced at her brother who chuckled at her predicament.

Florence rolled his eyes at him, following Daryl as he dragged her somewhere private, he looked as if he were trying to find the right words to say.

"Why'd you go?"

"I came back." She whispered, glancing down as Daryl shook his head and stared her down.

"I ain't just talkin' 'bout today, I'm talkin' 'bout these last few weeks, you ain't said nothin' to me. Not even one goddamn look! You've been actin' as if I killed your brother! I ain't done nothin' to you and you haven't spoken to me!" Florence stared at him a little stunned, she rested her head in her hands, shaking her head and looked at him apologetically.

"I haven't done anything like that before, it scared me- it wasn't fair on you and I'm sorry for that. Daryl, I didn't want to hurt you, I'm really sorry. You make me feel special Daryl and I thought I screwed that up. Looks like, I did anyway." Daryl shook his head, he stared at the girl for a few moments.

Florence hummed in surprise as Daryl rested a kiss on her lips, pushing her against the wall, Daryl took a step back, staring at the girl who looked shocked and yet she had a blush on her cheeks.

"I ain't a man of much words-"

"Oh, really? I never noticed" Florence teased, Daryl shook his head hearing her words, a chuckle escaping his lips. Florence grinned hearing him chuckle, she brushed his hair out of his face and smiled seeing his eyes.

"Shut up." He mumbled, which caused the girl to giggle more, Daryl grabbed her face in his hands and stared into her warm eyes. Florence threw her arms over his shoulders, their lips moving together, Daryl had been dreaming of kissing and dreaming of her loving him. Daryl had his doubt, a girl like Florence would never fall for a man like Daryl but here they were, Florence against a wall as Daryl's hands trailed across her body with their lips still pressing against each other's with desire and love.

Daryl took her hand, leading her somewhere more private, no walkers were nearby but they found what appeared to be the warden's living area. Daryl gently pushed her onto the bed, crouching over Florence, capturing her lips with her's and let his free hand trail across her side.

Florence wrapped her over his shoulders, pulling herself closer to get closer, the brunette girl trailed her fingers across his cheek and caught her hand as she moved to unbuckle his belt. She looked at him confused, Daryl took a breath, kissed her forehead and grinned at her.

"Ya sure you want to do this? With me?" Florence smiled at Daryl, a soft gaze in her eyes, she nodded and took a breath as Daryl traced her jaw. His fingers rested underneath her chin, carefully tilting her head up to meet her eyes better.

"I gotta hear you say the words, Flo." The girl nodded, understanding where he was coming from, she admired him and his actions. Florence took a breath, letting everything come to her for a moment and nodded.

"I want to do this, Daryl- I want to do this with you." Daryl nodded, knowing as their actions went on he'd be asking her again and again. Not wanting her to feel pressured into doing anything, Florence hummed against his lips as he lowered himself down and was swiftly caught up in the passion of their newly found romance.

Daryl made sure to be gentle with her, making Florence feel loved and cared for. Attending to her needs and pleasure before his own. Knowing that this was Florence's time, Daryl wanted her to know what a good partner was like during sex, wanted her to know that he could pleasure her and know how to give her what her body desired.

Afterwards, they lay in the small bed together, Daryl's body taking most of the space up and Florence close to his body as they faced each other. Daryl's arm was lightly draped over her waist, he watched over the girl as if it were hard to imagine that this is where they ended up.

"I ain't never had someone look after me the way you do, Daryl," Florence whispered, her fingers lightly tracing over his face, he gave a shy smile and rested a kiss on her forehead.

"I ain't never gonna be the one to hurt you." Florence nodded, appreciating the words, Daryl didn't want this moment to end. Daryl wanted to keep Florence safe, wanted her to be shielded from the world, in this moment it felt like neither of them could be hurt but Florence could protect herself and they both had to leave this peaceful moment.
