The next morning, everyone woke up and ate breakfast in silence. They didn't know what to say, sure they had been used to death before. But not now when they had a safe place. They had fooled them selfs into thinking they were over it. Now they had to deal with another lose. They all knew Deanna was going to question Glenn. Specially with a lying asshole blaming him for the death of her son. They all saw how affected Glenn was. He looked so deep in thought. He couldn't get the image of Noah being eaten alive in front of him out of his head. All the blood.. Noah's cries of pain. Noah pleading him not to let him go.. It was the most petrifying moment of his life. Glenn wanted to kill Nick. He wanted to make him suffer for being the cause of losing someone else from their family. But as much as he wanted too, he couldn't. He was to kind, he wouldn't let someone to die. Even if they are murders.

"Any, uh," Marie cleared her throat, getting the attention of the others "any news on Tara?"

"They still don't know when she'll wake up" Rosita sighed sadly "I'll be checking on her later"

"Has Eugene been back?" Maggie asked. They all knew he cared a lot for Tara. He had grown some balls to help her out.

"No, he hasn't left her side" Rosita shock her head.

"We should send them some food" Carol suggested "show them we're sorry for their lost"

"Their not the only ones that lost someone" Glenn suddenly spoke up, his eyes red from tears.

"Yeah but don't forget that their son died on our watch" Abraham said "lets show them some respect"

"Noah would of been here if it wasn't for nick" Glenn spat at no one in particular "all he had to do was wait"

"You've already told Deanna what happen" Marie said softly "everything will be solved"

No one said anything through the rest of breakfast. Some had gone out to do their jobs and others went to visit Tara. The only ones left in the house were Carol, Marie, and Daryl. Carol was in the kitchen making a recipe for Deanna and her family. Daryl was in the front porch and Marie was in her room resting since she had the day off.

Marie couldn't help, but think back to when they told her Merle had died. It felt like she had lost a brother. He had cared so much for him and he cared for her. His death had caused problems with her and Daryl. They were both hurting for the lost of a brother. They didn't know how else to let their emotions go then to take them out of each other. They had never gotten physical. They would just throw things at the concrete walls and shout. Their last argument had been the worst and the final one. They had taken a break from each other after that.

"Come on marie" Daryl tried snapping Marie out of her trance "you gotta eat, girl"

Marie only starred blankly at the floor. She had been like that for the past three months.

"Wake up!" Daryl growled. He had finally gotten enough of her state. He understood she had lost Merle, but he had lost him too.

Her eyes started fluttering, closing and opening rapidly. Her eyes looked up at him, it was then she noticed his hair had gotten longer and he was growing a slight beer. She hadn't realized she was out of it for long.

"You need to get your ass up and move on" Daryl shook his head. He had started getting over his brother's death long ago.

"It's not that easy" Marie shook her head. She could still feel the pain, it was as if he had just died yesterday.

"It's not easy?" Daryl laughed sarcastically "he was my damn brother!"

"And he was mine too" Marie snapped, standing up from the bunk bed. Her legs were wobbly as she stood her ground "I get it I'm not the only one who lost him, but we all cope differently"

"Cope differently?" He looked at her in disbelief "girl it's been months. It's part of life, you don't get to morn anymore!"

Marie only stay quiet, tears falling down her face. She knew he was right, but she couldn't get over it. He didn't deserve to die. He had died trying to protect them. She wouldn't be able to hear his sarcastic remarks and his rude comments. She wouldn't be able to talk to him when she had a problem.

"He's gone, Marie" Daryl sighed "it's for the best"

"It's for the best?" Her head snapped at him. She gave him a cold glare as she spoke "What the fuck do you mean it was for the best?"

"He died for a reason" Daryl shrug, he wasn't very religious, but he knew it had to happen for a reason.

"He died for us" Marie corrected him "he died to save us!"

Marie grew angry when he went silent.

"You don't get to tell me to get over it" she shook her head, angry tears now running down her face.

"Whatever" Daryl rolled his eyes at her.

That was only their first argument. They had continued on after that. They had said harsh things that were made up with angry sex. After days of arguing they would give in to desire. It was the only way they would connect after days of arguments. They had prove of their angry intimacy. Marie had scars of angry teeth bites Daryl had left on her shoulders. As for Daryl, he had scratches on his back, that are now scarred light, from where she ran her nails down his back. They've always felt bad for it, but as much as they apologized to the other, they still felt guilty.

Standing up, Marie stretched and then headed downstairs. She had expected to see Carol in the kitchen, but she wasn't. She then walked to the porch were Daryl was.

"Everyone left?" She asked as soon as she spotted him by the porch stairs.

"Yeah" he nodded not looking up at her. He was messing with his crossbow, his arms flexing as he did. It caught Marie's attention immediately. They were once again covered in dirty and sweat.

"Have you taken a shower?" She asked him, her eyes still on his arms. She only receive a grunt in return. She sighed and walked over to him, removing his hands from his weapon. He gave her a curious look as she did. She placed his crossbow on the wood floor and pulled at his hands, leading him I to the house.

"Where are we going?" He asked confused. He didn't know what to expect.

"To take a shower, stinky"
