It would be wrong to say everything was going perfectly after the Christmas party, because Cally couldn't get in touch with Callum for Merlin's sake.

Dear Cal,
Merry Christmas! Sadly enough for you, this is the fourth Christmas you've spent after you met me. Jokes aside, i hope you and your family are doing well. Give Ted my greatest blessings and the biggest kiss to little nymphadora. As you know from our last talk, I spent the Christmas break at Potter's. And let me tell you, it was very eventful. First of all, Remus asked me out right before the break. Then i found out James was the one behind it all and we had quite the fight. But it was all sorted out when Remus and others came to the Christmas party at Potter's. Me and James even danced together and he kissed me. Not on the lips but it made my heart flutter. As the person I trust the most when it comes to talking about my feelings, of course you're the first to hear about my blossoming feelings for James. As always, I expect you to return the transparency and my letter.
Your favourite,
Cally

She said in her letter, but she never got any response from the boy. Which upset her way more than it should have. Cally would sometimes doubted her friendship with Callum, felt like he was bothered by her company. But Callum never understood why she felt this way, after all the times he had to reassure her of how much she mattered to him.

The Christmas break was finally over and everyone was leaving their warm homes for another home with another family waiting for them at hogwarts.

Once again the goodbyes were said and the compartments were full of students, some excited, some anxious.

"I'll go find Zoe and Zelda, might also stop for the trolley on my way. Anybody want anything?" Cally asked her friends. The girl was so happy to see them again and not having anything to worry about anymore —well, except for Callum.

"A chocolate bar would be good actually." "Yeah and bertie bott's every flavours." James grinned mischievously.

Cally reached the compartment with the three Hufflepuffs after buying her friends orders and some other candies. Red haired boy was sitting next to Zelda and across Zoe.

"Zelda! What did you do to your hair?" Cally exclaimed with shock. "Why? Do you not like it?" the blonde girl asked with an anxious voice.

"Are you kidding me? I love it! Merlin knows how long i've been telling you to cut it short and Callum to grow his hair out. Finally you both did it." Cally said with a huge smile on her face as she hugged Zoe tightly.

"Yeah Cal's finally growing it out because his girlfriend likes it that way." Zoe smirked as she returned the hug.

Cally could feel the shock waves sending through her body as she couldn't speak for a moment.

"What does that mean? You got yourself a girlfriend? You don't write back to any of my letters and the first thing I hear is you got a girlfriend? Who is she? Do we know her?" the curly haired girl started questioning non stopping after she got over her shock.

"Can you calm your voice down? For Merlin's sake what do you mean I didn't write back, you're the one who completely ignored my letter?" Callum asked with utter shock.

Cally stood there for good 5 seconds, contemplating what to say. "Shit." was all she said before she covered her face with her hands in embarrassment.

"Your letter must've gotten lost. I disregarded the possibility, sorry. Then now you must tell me everything that was written in the letter because what do you mean you got a girlfriend??" she excitedly asked before linking arms with the red haired boy.

"It's Lily!" Zelda jumped in before Callum had any chance to speak. Cally's eyes were wide open with the name she just heard.

"LILY!? HOW COME I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS YET IT'S THE TWO OF MY BEST FRIENDS?" she basically yelled in shock.

"Merlin! Can you calm down. Yes it is Lily and you didn't know because we don't want to make it obvious so lower your voice! And stop talking on my behalf Zel!" the boy almost shouted frustrated.

After that, everyone kept quiet as he told the girl how he started dating her best friend.

"Merlin, and I was so stupid telling you that Lily and James had something going on!" Cally said, with an embarrassed expression again.

Just as Callum was opening his mouth in order to say something, the compartments door opened, revealing a James Potter with armfull of sweets.

"You didn't come back for so long I thought they were holding you captive." he said with an apologetic smile.

"Oh, yes! Sorry i got lost in catching up. Here let me help." she said while taking some of the sweets off of the boys arms and waving the three a goodbye.

"What were you guys talking about?" the boy asked curiously, nudging the girl.

"Quite a lot actually. But mostly about the letter Cal sent me that got lost." she smiled at him.

"Well we better hurry or else Padfoot might start eating Wormtail." he laughed, rushing to the end of the corridor.

"If I didn't know, I'd think you two were reunited after 10 years or something." Marlene complained at the sight of the two girls sitting very closely, whispering and giggling.

"You wouldn't understand Marl, Lily and I's love is like that." Cally stuck out her tongue to irritate the girl across the table.

"And i still can't believe you two are dating Lils! This is like two of my worlds meeting!" Cally whispered excitedly at the redhead again.

"Shush Cal! I don't want people to think i seek attention, having some drama after every break." Lily anxiously shut her friend down.

"There are at least five people on this table that are willing to beat anyone who talks bad about you." Cally giggled at her own words.

"So let the feast begin!" Dumbledore's voice echoed in the great hall as the tables filled with delicious foods.
