So there is this bollywood movie called "sanam teri kasam" and i can't get enough of it. I have been watching that movie whenever i feel upset or i need to cry my feelings out. Something about the main couple had me wondering that no matter what ,at the end we crave for love, we crave for it even when we don't want to. The movie has been my favourite now since about 1.5 years? Lowkey watched the movie in the starting because of the male actor and i wasn't wrong about him??!!He nailed it. At the end of the movie my heart felt empty but at the same time i was mesmerized by the beauty and details of the film. I think i have a thing for movies where the girl gets saved by this handsome guy who can do anything for her. Although still the fact that it wasn't cliche at all considering that it was released 8 years ago and still not cliche till now. Inder ( the main character guy) has been nothing but a total lover boy. He was just a grumpy, introverted and kind hearted boy who was misunderstood by people. On the other side saraswati was a timid brave elder daughter ( probably relatable except I'm not as sweet as her, lmao) . In the starting of the movie when Inder sets his eyes on saru for the first time had me fangirling . I think i was more happy/ thrilled?? Idk what😭 but that guy joined the library and kept asking her out on dates through small notes through the books he borrowed from the library. She noticed that way too late but ig this is a big part of things being fictional. They make you happy unlike the real life. The fact that Inder had his eyes on her from the starting despite her not being the prettiest in the room was something that made me awe. The fact that his love was so selfless and the fact that that they didn't had a happy ending left me feeling empty all along the movie . Let's not even talk about the songs😭, all of them are so fucking pretty . The movie , the songs are giving "morally grey men being the sweetest lover boy for their favourite girls trope". This made me so fucking emotional , brb after crying . I think this is my new favourite home if home was a movie. ( i hate that this doesn't exists in real life)
