Kenny had started to grow more anxious from Butters' disappearance. No matter how many times he tried to reach out, Butters never replied anymore. He even tried reaching out to people that were frequently around him, but nobody knew where the boy was. Kenny just decided to keep waiting, hoping that his beloved Butters was. He went to school again, hoping to see him there.

Kenny: Hi, guys.

Stan: Oh, hey Kenny.

Craig: So, any news?

Kenny: No, nobody's seen him anywhere.

Kyle: It would be a shame if that killer got to him.

Kenny: Yeah..

Kyle: It would be worse if the kidnapper was a rapist too..

Kenny: Can we talk about this topic later? It's making me uncomfortable, and I don't want to think of all the possibilities of where exactly he could be..

Kyle glared at him, but he ignored it. He thought that Kyle's been acting strange lately but didn't want to immediately suspect his friend. Kenny got up and went into the bathroom silently, and then sat in the stall and cried to himself. He didn't want Butters to be dead, he loved him too much. He couldn't handle the fact that his partner could possibly be in a ditch somewhere, possibly dismembered, violated, or worse. He felt panicked, and didn't know what to do about it. This situation wasn't like any other that he'd been in before, despite how many times he'd died in the past. Stan noticed Kenny went into the bathroom and walked in, immediately hearing his friend cry.

Stan: Hey, Kenny? Are you alright?

Kenny: I-I'm just really scared that Butters isn't going to be alright..

Stan: I'm sure it'll be alright, you and I both know Butters always comes through tough situations.. He's a strong guy.

Kenny: I know, it's just that- that maybe he got attacked by that guy everyone's talking about.. I really don't want him to die-

He started crying again, and Stan was standing outside of the stall trying to comfort his dear friend.

Kenny: Do you think he's dead..?

Stan: I really, honestly don't know, but I can tell you that he will pull through this. I promise, man.

Kenny: T-Thanks, I really appreciate it, Stan.. I really, really do..

Stan: I'll make sure to watch out for him, dude..

Kenny opened the stall door and hugged Stan tightly, crying into his shoulder. Stan hugged him back, trying to comfort him.

Kenny: I'm sorry to bother you like this, I'm just really concerned..

Stan: It's alright.. you can let it all out, Kenny..

Kenny eventually stopped crying and hugged Stan tightly again and thanked him. Stan smiled, and made sure he'd be alright.

Stan: Everything's gonna be alright, dude. I'm sure of it.

Kenny: I really hope so..

Stan: And you just gotta keep having that hope, I promise he'll come back.

The moment ended, and Kenny cleaned his face off in the bathroom sink, making sure nobody was able to see his face looking like he just broke down. He walked back into the gymnasium and sat on the bleachers by the other guys, and tried to act like nothing had just happened. School ended, and he went home. He was immediately greeted by his little sister, and she hugged him tightly.

Karen: Hi, Kenny! I missed you a lot!

Kenny: I missed you too.

He smiled at her and went to his room, laying in his bed and staring at the ceiling. He pulled his phone out and was looking through pictures he had of him and Butters and started crying to himself again, eventually falling asleep.
