Stan walked home after that sleepover, thinking back to the time before Cartman had gone missing.  He felt sorry about his disappearance, like it was his fault that he was gone all of a sudden.  Maybe he was there, and he was just going crazy or something.  No, he refused to believe that he hated being around Cartman so much that his brain just made him disappear.  Maybe it wasn't his fault, and Cartman was just pulling another stupid prank on everyone, even though he did see a missing poster a couple of days ago.  He felt alone because his friends were seperating from each other, and he felt worse because they'd been together all those years.  There had to be a reason for all of this.  It couldn't have just all spontaneously started all of a sudden.  No, he was going to find the root of all of this shit.  He just needed to see if anybody else went missing or if anybody is going to go missing, maybe that would help him find who did this.  Now to ask around town to figure out some clues.  But who would be a good interviewee?  Butters.  Butters used to always be around Cartman, so he could be a good interviewee.  And now he just needed to find where Butters was at.  He eventually found him, sitting in the graveyard and reading some sort of Manga book or something, sitting on the ground with his back against the tree.

Stan: Hey, Butters.

Butters: I- Oh- Oh hey, Stan.

Stan: Do you mind if I ask you some questions? I'm trying to find out what happened to Cartman, and thought you'd be good to ask since you were always around him.

Butters: Oh, Oh, sure.  You can ask me, but I don't think I'll know much..

                                       [STAN'S POV]

Why is he being..hesitant?  That was kind of suspicious, but Alright.  He could just be confused, but whatever..

Stan: So, where was the last place you hung out with him?

Butters: I was eating lunch with him the day he went missing, we were at the playground outside the school..

Stan: Was anything different about him, or was he acting like usual?

Butters: Well, he did feel like he was kinda uncomfortable..but that was probably because Kyle was planning a visit with him..

Stan: Did he say what he was going to do when Kyle was gonna visit?

Butters: No, but he did say that Kyle sounded different than usual when they were talking on the phone with each other.

Stan: Alright..did he say anything about Kyle seeming..threatening or anything like that?

Butters: He didn't say anything else and then he left.  Am I doing a good job helping?

Stan: Alright, thanks.  Yeah, you did a good job buddy.  I'll talk to you later, I've got some working to do.

Butters: Bye, Stan!

Stan got up and ran, waving to Butters.  He didn't want anybody else to get hurt, so he thought he'd do some detective work.  Partly because the South Park Police force is shitty and doesn't do most of their cases right.  He thought about having some of the kids in the school help, but he remembered nobody cared enough to actually want to help him.  Stan felt tired from today's activities, so he decided to wait until tomorrow.  He sat on his windowsill, watching the sky.
