Stan was already weary from Cartman's disappearance, but now Butters had gone missing too.  He knew it wasn't his job to do the job instead of the police, but the town police just weren't doing anything about the missing cases.  He decided to face his fear, trust his gut, and ask Kyle upfront about anything that he might know about the disappearances.  He just needed to catch his friend at the right time.  Meanwhile, he was playing Call of Duty with Clyde and the guys while he waited for Kyle to text him back.  He did realize that Kyle was sick in the head and that he might want to bring something to defend himself in case Kyle tried to strike at him again.  Though the chance was low, he still decided it would be a good idea.  Minutes went by, and eventually hours did with no reply.  He texted Kyle again, and asked if he was doing okay.  He was starting to get worried because Kyle usually responded very quickly when he texted or called him.  He suddenly heard a knock on the door, and he paused the game and walked downstairs  to see who it could be.

Stan: Hi, Kyle!

Kyle: Can we talk at Stark's Pond or somewhere?

Stan: Yeah, we can.

They walked down the sidewalk, eventually ending up at the nearest public park.  Kyle hadn't invited Stan to walk with him for a long time, so he felt like he could finally work things out between the two of them again.  Maybe Kyle was finally himself again, he just had to wait and see how this visit went.  They sat down on the bench, and Kyle turned to look at Stan.  Stan was feeling happy, but didn't want to seem too overly excited.

Kyle: You know.. I've been meaning to tell you something.

Stan: What is it, Ky?

Kyle: Well, it has to do with my feelings and our friendship going forward.

Stan: I already know you like me dude.  You already told me.  I just need some time to figure out how I feel about it and if I feel the same way or not.

Kyle: Okay..

Stan: Yeah, don't think I don't like you or anything, I just haven't figured out if I like like you or not.

Kyle: Alright.. Thanks for telling me..

Stan: Of course. And if you need anything, you know you can come to me, right? I'll always be here to listen to what you have to say.

Kyle: thanks.

Stan hugged Kyle, and Kyle hugged him back.  They eventually departed and headed back to their houses.  Kyle felt upset again, and needed to blow off some steam.  He felt his rage coming back, and he needed to do something about it.  He stormed into his house, and Ike tried to greet him when he got to his room.  He found something from his childhood in his closet, a pistol that he remembered from when the town was big on guns.  Every citizen had one, no matter how old they were.  He saw there was still ammo too, and loaded the gun and looked at it.  He spun the barrel and pointed it to his head, hoping the bullet would go through.  But it didn't.   He sat on the bed, still holding the gun when Ike walked into his room to say hello.

Ike: Hi, Kyle!

Kyle: I'm not in the mood right now.

Ike: Oh..is something wrong?

Kyle: It's nothing. Now leave.

Ike wouldn't leave.  He kept getting angrier and angrier, and eventually pulled the gun out and shot his brothers leg.  Ike screamed as he saw his own blood trickling down his leg, and he started to panic.  Kyle realized what he did and started tending to his wound.  He felt guilty for shooting his little brother, and kept apologizing for it.
