"Cant believe I don't get the chance to beat your arse in the semi-finals." Leah complained, laughing when she watched her younger sister roll her eyes through the screen.

Arsenal had lost to Wolfsburg and were no longer playing in the competition, though Valerie was sad at the thought she wouldn't have an excuse to see her sister soon, she was also relieved as she didn't like the idea of going up against Leah.

"Trust me, you wouldn't have a chance."

"I can't let my little sister ruin my image anyway," Leah grinned smugly, "Seems like your captain's doing that for me."

Valerie groaned, trudging into her kitchen and setting the phone up against the microwave, searching for a drink to settle the rage building inside of her at the mere thought of the Putellas woman.

After the match against Real Madrid, Valerie had stormed out of the changing rooms unannounced and drove home, ranting to her older sister about the captain for hours. She even declined the celebration party with her teammates, as Mapi informed her that Alexia would in fact be there.

"I regret telling you about that, I'd rather not think about her," The blonde tied her hair back into a ponytail, watching her phone as she saw her close friend Jordan Nobbs behind her sister, hugging her from the back, "Jordy what are you doing wasting your time on my sister?"

Valerie teased then pretended to throw up as the pair shared a quick kiss, she was happy for her sister as she finally got with Jordan after years of crushing on her. It was about time anyway.

"Y'know Val, if you weren't so busy being a hater, you'd find a girlfriend." Jordan laughed, wiggling her eyebrows with her girlfriend at the woman on the other side of the screen.

"God, you two make me sick."

"I can sense jealousy..." Jordan sang, before leaving the sisters to talk between themselves, the pair smiling and making small talk for a few more minutes.

"How are you finding playing for Barcelona?" Leah asked, staring at her sister who was now sat down at the kitchen island with her hand rested on her chin, Valerie looked down at the club's badge on her chest for a second before sighing.

"Good...I think? All the girls are amazing there, except for—you know who." Valerie smiled, rubbing her pointer finger over the badge, "You thought I'd lie?"

"I like to make sure, you're not the best at...feelings." The older sister laughed at the fake annoyed face that Valerie made holding her chest in offence, "You're gonna win this tournament, I know it."

"I'm scared to go up against Lyon, all of my friends are there. Either outcome makes me nervous." Valerie admitted, playing with her fingers as nerves took over eliciting a sympathetic look from her sister.

"It's football, it doesn't matter who we go up against. They want to win as much as you do," Leah consoled, her speech was cut short by a loud knocking on the front of Valerie's door, the younger sister sending her an apologetic look as Ines broke through the door, "Show the alien that you were the right choice."

If it weren't for the fact that Ines had already called out her name, Valerie would have passed out when a hand grabbed her shoulder from behind.

"Es irrumpir en mi apartamento como parte del contrato?" (Is breaking into my apartment apart of the contract?) The blonde athlete stood, looking down at Ines who was a couple inches smaller—the woman had a package in one hand and her phone in the other, "What is that?"

"La entrega especial," (Special delivery) Ines smirked, shoving the package into the taller woman's hands then making her way into the kitchen to get a glass of water, "¿Eres un conejo?" (Are you a rabbit?) The physiotherapist questioned, when she saw the vegetables and healthy food in the athlete's fridge and cupboards.
