-Aliyah Cameron-
It was the day before Alastair's birthday, we were going to see Stella.
I don't know why but I was nervous. Girl- leave me alone.
I got ready and put a crop top and shorts and walked downstairs to see Alastair.
He looked a little nervous, I walked up to him "hi" I smile, he looks at me and gives a small smile.
I don't say anything because I know that this day is kinda hard for him "you ready?" I ask and he nods.
I take his hand and we walk to his car "is it okay if we stop at a flower shop first?" He ask, and I nod with a small smile.
We drive to the shop and look for some flowers "which ones where her favorite?" I ask him.
"She loved tulips especially these purple ones, she always said they were underrated" he says with a small smile.
I walk over to the tulips and look for purple ones, their was only one bouquet left.
"I guess their no longer underrated" I smile at him, he nods with a small smile, we walk over the cashier and Alastair buys the flowers.
We get back into the car and drive to the cemetery, it didn't take us that long like about 15 minutes maybe.
"You okay?" I ask him, he nods "yeah it's...weird" he says.
"I almost feel bad for bringing someone else here...but I know she would want me to be happy and move on" he says.
"If you want i can wait in the car" I say reassuring him he shook his head "no..I feel like if I don't have anyone with me I'll breakdown.." he says softly.
Tears filled his eyes and I nod softly holding his hand and kissing it, we get out of the car, I follow him to where she was buried.
And we get there I place the flowers in the little holder and sit next to Alastair.
"It's okay to breakdown you know?" I say softly looking at him, he nods
"I know..it's just she wouldn't want me to be sad and I know it's weird that I still talk about her even though we're together it's just..I don't want to forget her" he says picking at the grass.
"Alastair..you won't forget her" I say drawing small patterns on his palm, since it calms him down.
"You don't know that...and I'm not trying to be an asshole it just really scares me knowing I couldn't save her that night." He says wiping a tear away.
"It isn't your fault Alastair. Don't think it is, you didn't know that would've happened." I say he goes quiet.
But it's a comfortable silence, after a few minutes he starts telling me stories about Stella, and he cried, but I didn't say anything.
It was good he was letting his emotions out instead of bottling them up and hiding them, I was proud of him.
"Wait so you were actually scared of her?" I say laughing, he nods "yeah...Stella would not let that go when I told her."
"In my defense it was Halloween...and I was kinda high when she scared me." He laughs softly, i smile at him.
"Claire was in on it too, I think she still has the- never mind" he says. "No, tell me" I say.
He rolls his eyes "I think Claire still has the video." He says and I grin "I'm so asking for that video later."
Alastair glares at me before telling me more stories, I lean my head on his shoulder and listen to him.
