(CHANYEOL'S POV)

I've just finished brushing my teeth. I'm so tired; it's almost midnight. There's been a lot on my mind lately. I get ready for bed, but then I hear a little "ding" coming from the direction of my dresser.

I reach my arm over to grab my Galaxy S5.

Allie<3: Chanyeol

Allie<3: First of all I'm sorry.

I mentally scoff. I'm not replying to her. I need a break from her. (A/N: Chanyeol removes the heart next to her name in his contacts.)

Allie: But i want to know if you know

Wait. Know what? I wait. She doesn't say anything else.

Me: know what

Allie: About an "early engagement"?

WHAT? I immediately want to call for my parents but neither of them are home. I guess today's one of those late night conferencing days. I think I'll wait. I pull out my earbuds and shuffle my playlist, with 2NE1's "If I Were You" coming up as the first one.

I had left my music on, and thank goodness BTS came on, because otherwise I don't think I would've woken up. I turn my music off and glance at the time. It's 12:30. I must have fallen victim to a nap. I rub my eyes drowsily and get off my bed. From where my bedroom door is, I can see light coming from downstairs in the big office room. Although I can't make out exactly what words and what sentences are being said, I can definitely hear people talking. I nimbly make my way downstairs. On my way to the office room, I see my mom closing the door to the office behind her back. She brings a finger to her lips. "Your father is still trying to work some things out from the conference," she whispers. She doesn't ask me why I'm not asleep, because frankly I don't really need to get taller. (Also, she's pretty lenient on these sorts of things.) "Mom, I have a really important question I need to ask you." She sighs. A strand of her hair has come out of her low ponytail. She seems stressed and desperate for some rest. "Yeol, can we save this for another day?" She asks tiredly. Okay, mom. However, that doesn't mean that she's off the hook.
