Even with the extra people inside of the burrow, things have become much more quiet. My days are spent with less worrying, and much more enjoyment. The burrow has become a center for many to gather in the troubling times to come, others in the order come by quite often; checking on others and ensuring everyone's safety.
It had felt odd at first, seeing the room so crowded when I had first arrived. They had been worried, apparently once Molly received the letter, it didn't take long for them to know about the events that had happened. Once I had entered into the burrow several weeks back, I was hit with a barrage of questions. Many of them asked the same if I had unintentionally made someone angry, and if they had said any information that might bring insight to who their employer had been.
Moody had been interested in the mixture as I explained to them how I had gotten away in the first place. Four wizards against one was a deadly mix, one not easily escaped from. I was sure that with how interested he has been, I'd be asked to possibly make more in the future for him. I decided to keep it to myself that I still had two vials left of the said mixture. Lupin and Mr. Weasley had been more surprised than excited as Moody was if anything to hear about my creation, but happy that I had been on the same side as them.
During those several weeks, I busied myself with work around the house. Mrs. Weasley had tried to deny me helping, but after a few pushes she had finally given in. I didn't mind it in all honesty, keeping busy helped relax my mind a bit. Living here so far had helped a lot in easing the constant anxiety I had felt while being in hiding at Hogsmeade, during the time I had spent here there had been no inkling of a snatcher at our door. My hopes had been that they finally gave up, wouldn't have to look for me anymore. Moody had told me not to count on it, that they probably hadn't connected the dots and came here just yet, nor wanted to. It was common knowledge of the strength of the Weasley family, if they had an inkling that I would be here, he had told me they would wait until I was completely alone, and then snatch me. It'd be too dangerous on their end to risk the possibility of the entire family being here. Staying out of sight inside the home was my best bet, and even if I did leave the burrow, he pushed that I should have someone else with me at all times.
As frustrating as it sounded to either be constantly shadowed or cooped up in a house, he and the others worked in this type of business, they knew how to keep someone hidden. How the minds worked of those who prowled after them.
It didn't take more than two days after my arrival for both Tonks and Lupin to arrive at my parents home, they had been shocked of course, not knowing who to look for. Plus, this had been the first time that my parents had even met other wizards outside of the Weasley family. Once they had returned they had assured me that my parents were kept somewhere safe, and they would not be found. According to them, they had hid my parents somewhere off in America in a deep safe house. Many of the order believed that The Dark Lord would keep the heaviest part of his presence here in London first, then once he killed Harry he would plan on spreading further out.
That had been the heaviest topic during the remaining summer months, the talk of Harry, especially as his 17th birthday slowly crept up as the weeks passed in July. More and more the order had arrived at the burrow, today they would return once more to finally enact their plan. The day before Harry's birthday. This would be the night that they would solidify their plan and prepare for the coming day.
Letting out a sigh, I plopped myself on the couch in their living room. The house had still felt odd to walk around, they had rebuilt the home slowly in attempts to get as close as they could to the original after it had burned. Though try as they might, there would be no second burrow to match the original.
Not long after, the twins plopped themselves beside me grinning as we bumped elbows with each other.
