And then, my dear, we walk.

"This bites." I sneer, flipping a stone that was kicked aboard the blimp leading us to the fourth phase.

"Well the exam was never really a week." Killua replies, and he kicks the stone over to Gon.

"No kidding. I just don't want some horrible disaster to happen."

"I'd actually be more worried about Netero's old tricks." Lian mused, catching the stone as Gon kicked it high in the air. I haven't asked who trained her yet. "I hear he his nasty streak can be pretty bad."

I look to Gon and Killua for answers. "I've actually heard that too. Is the exam going to get any worse?" Lian throws me the stone, and I let it 'hop' over to Gon from the back of my hand.

"Hmmmmmm..... Don't know. Our exam wasn't, really.... That bad...." He hesitates, holding his chin and closing his eyes in an effort to remember.

"Liar." All three of us reply, and Gon pouts, kicking the stone over to Killua.

"Well, whatever happens, I'm sure I'll be able to handle it."

"Unless its written exams. You always had bad grades.

Night sky. Stars. Lines of light. Popsicles. Summer. Skirts and tennis practice.

Memories.

"Y-yeah. Though my memory is better, even if public school systems aren't."

"School systems are based on memory?" Killua and Gon ask, synchronized, and me and Lian nod.

"Yep. Can't remember what you learned last week? You're a failure. Quite simple. Its a continuous downward spiral of piling up work and tired eyes. That, and parents upset that you're upset because you don't actually 'work'. Oh, and then there's bullying because kids are stupid and don't understand that there's different people out there." I simply say, catching the stone from Killua and passing it to Gon with ease.

They stare at me, then at each other, and grimace.

"Does nobody feel-"

"Netero!" I call, smiling over as he turns the corner of the hallway. He smiles, and I look at Lian.

"He does have quite the presence." I shrug, turning to look back as Gon and Killua are already greeting him.

"So you've made it this far, hm?" He chuckles, and I lift an eyebrow.

"Don't even joke, you never doubted me." I huff, crossing my arms with a small smile.

"That makes one of us." Killua mumbles and I glare at him.

"Hey! Don't go talking stuff! I just swore that I'd be able to handle anything in this exam and I meant it!" I snap, annoyed at everyone's laughter.

Netero though, on the other hand, seemed to suddenly have an idea just click in his brain.

I stare at him, worried. "H-hey, Netero you look like you just got an idea there-"

"Well let's see how the final phase rolls over before you say that...Get some rest everyone, you'll need it." He smiles, continuing down the hallway as I watch him in horror.

"Netero-san has...never told us to rest..." Gon whispered, and I grind my teeth with worry.

His nasty streak is the worst.

"Well, we should rest then for sure. Come on, the blimp shouldn't be apart of the exam." Killua sighs, getting up and starting to walkover to the bunk bed room.
