The woman from before, with the odd voice, steps out with a sly smile.

"Well, it would be a shame to waste time." She smirks, and out, from the shrubs, comes a scythe. The same one the other man -after Lian helped Gon and Killua- was bothering us.

The blade must've been switched out though, because its red this time.

I fall back just as Hisoka lunges at me again, and I nearly manage to punch him, but the hag decides to slice at my arm from behind me.

She barely scratches me, and yet my blood immediately snaps out from all my cuts.

My arms, my fingertips, the scratch from the side of my face, the tip of my tongue, and spikes out under my skin, rippling.

Both Hisoka and her take a cautious step back, and I lick at the spike inside my mouth. Copper.

"Ah, sorry, I just hate when someone doesn't know how to use a weapon properly. Though, please, continue to pretend to have talent." I grin, watching as her red lips shift into a snarl.

She's fast, almost a blure, but I barely have to block and renforce my blood, a crater appearing in the ground from our force.

"Meh. Remember what I said if you step into this circle?" Too slow too boring too weak-

She growls, trying to jump back, but I grab the blade and stare down Hisoka, the metal cracking and folding in my hold until it breaks apart in my hand.

She's stupid, trying to pull the pole from my hand, but I merely yank it toward me, a spike popping out of the back of my elbow and knee. I hook it around her neck and slam her onto my knee before kicking her back up and breaking her nose with a punch.

She falls back, but I hook her limp form with her mangled blade, and it cuts into her back with ease. She groans in pain, and I swing the scythe back around my right arm, facing Hisoka.

Thump, she falls, she's trying to crawl away, and I grin as the shcrack and scream of a shitty blade lodgeing itself between a grown woman's spinal disks fills the air for a moment.

Hisoka, merely smirks, and that's the only warning I get before he's right in front of me. Sitting. Does it look like I want to chat?

"Eh~? You've grown..." I glare, grinding my teeth and sending a kick-

"Wha-?" Smoke, wafting to the left.

"Ah, seems you haven't seen all my tricks." I turn, kicking and again disperse a smoke dummy. I roll back, into the smoke and cough, narrowly missing his hand reaching for my throat.

"You and your liking to sneak up on people!" I snarl, catching all seven cards that he send at me, the bursts of wind causing holes in the smoke screen.

I'm pulled back by the end of my coat, and I curse as Hisoka has me in a choke hold. I can see the edge of a king of hearts poke at my cheek.

"Ack-I hate-dammit!" I bite down on the card, stabbing his one of the ones I caught into his forearm and slipping out of his grip.

"That was...new." He snickers, removing the card and licking at the blood left on it.

Two more idiots jump out from the damn trees, and I'm barely able to keep blocking Hisoka's punches.

I turn, just as a tall, slightly muscular man that barely seems to have turned eighteen throws a punch. I catch it, just as Hisoka does the same, and the teens friend that is definitely older, tries to come at me with a bat.

I laugh, throwing the arms of the two idiots behind me, making them almost bump into each other. I hear a sudden scream and know Hisoka probably punched his lights out. I back flip, kicking the bat under the mans jaw as he swings down a little too slow, and side step the amount of teeth that come flying once I stand.

He falls back not his knees, howling in pain and I jump up on his shoulder, slamming his face into the ground and sending me flying. I skid back around to face Hisoka, and sigh as I see them.

Gon, Killua, Lian, and five other exam takers behind them in all their over muscular seething glory. My lip twitches as I try to hold back my smile.

"Ah, took you guys long enough. I'm kind of...getting a bit bored." I stretch, side stepping Killua's reach for the ribbons around my stomach.

I block his punch, dodging cards Hisoka throws once more, and throw myself over Killua, grabbing his shoulder.

I kick one of the men in the face, making him land flat on his back and be able to punch the other man in the throat. I skid forward, catching Lian's arrow, throwing it over to Hisoka.

"Hey, here's a riddle, a painter..." I jump up, rolling forward as Killua and Gon both try to grab me from my left and right. "Slaved over a small portrait of a bowl of cherries, and it was so realistic-"

I catch a mans fist, crushing it in my hand as I kick his leg hard enough to hear the crackle of a broken bone. "-that birds would peck at it in the window, and so the next day he painted a boy holding a basket of grapes."

I duck down as Hisoka moves in for a kick, winding the man behind me, the body falling on Lian. I hiss in pain for her, jumping up and over Hisoka onto a tree branch. "The birds pecked at the grapes as well, but the artist sobbed calling it a failure, why was that?"

I jump down, Gon blocking my drop kick, and I flip back, catching a different woman then last time, kicking her to the side. I turn on my hands, Lian grabbing my leg.

"Eh!?" I'm held there for a moment before I kick her hold off of me, feeling the buzz of electricity around my waist as I stand properly, taking a few steps back.

Killua smirks, him, Lian, and Gon holding a ribbon in hand. "I'm really good at these games, I guess." He shrugs.

I stare in disbelief for a moment, suddenly turning around and kicking a man in the gut. I elbow the back of his neck, knocking him out once he kneels over and use his body to block Hisoka's punch once more.

"Nobody has answered me yet." I smirk, glaring at Hisoka, holding the body there between us.

"U-um...I'm really bad at things like this..." Gon groans, smoke practically rising from his ears from how hard he was thinking.

I roll my eyes, looking up to see all three of them perched up in a tree, the ribbons all out of sight.

"The birds would have been afraid of the boy." Lian and Hisoka, replied together.

"Oh...?" Hisoka smirked, gazing up at Lian. That look-

I lost my cool, snarling as I tear away from behind the human shield and my fist a blur until it makes contact with Hisoka.

Don't touch her.

He takes a step back, my wrist burning as I walk forward a bit, panting and staring at the ground.

"....correct." I whisper.
