Chapter 40

Authors Note:

Okay, i would apologise for the long wait for the update but i do that every time soo i leave it.. 

But i will say that this is really short and nothing really happens. Its just really a filler for the next chapter. Also there is a lot of speech which means not a lot happens, so i apologise for that.

And the next chapter is the finale, i don't know whether that makes you said but it does make me sad! 

The next chapter will be a lot better because i have the end planned :)

Josh’s P.O.V

“Are you lot ready?” I called as I walked out of the kitchen into the living room. We had all decided to stop at Emily’s last night because she said that she didn’t mind and we were all really tired so we couldn’t be bothered to drive anymore.

“Yeah, one sec.” Max called back. We had told them that we would pick them up around 12 which meant we would have to leave about 10.

“Am I driving again?” Matt asked coming out the bathroom.

“As long as you don’t mind.” I said and threw him the keys. I picked up the keys to Emily’s apartment and walked to the door opening it before we all walked out. There wasn’t really any need for us all to go but then why not? We all got into the lift and rode down to the car park at the bottom before jumping into the minibus. I sat down and Max sat next to me before Dan sat across from us and Chris joined Matt in the front so he could sort out the satnav.

Yesterday had been really good. It was nice to spend time with just the boys. Don’t get me wrong, it’s great having Emily with me all the time and I wouldn’t change that for the world, but we’ve all been split up and away from each other for quite a while. Actually that reminds me…

“Where did you go last night Max?” I said asking him.

“Yeah you were gone for ages.” Dan said turning to look at us. I looked at Max and I don’t know whether he was blushing or if I was just imagining it.

“When?” Max said frowning.

“When we went into the café after coming out.” Dan said and I nodded in agreement.

“Oh, I left something in the changing rooms.” Max said shrugging and Dan sent me a frown as Max looked at me.

“What and it took forty minutes to go and get it?” I said.

“It was half hour actually. And I had to argue with them to let me in.” He said blushing again.

“So why are you blushing so much.” Dan said and he started wiggling his eyebrows.

“I’m not.” Max said looking up between us both.

“Max I know you’re hiding something.” I said elbowing his side lightly.

“I’m not!” Max said.

“I reckon he was with a girl.” Chris said from the front.

“Yeah he did seem pretty happy when he came back.” Matt added.

“Ugh go away and carry on watching the road.” Max shouted and Matt laughed.

“Well if you just tell the truth.” Chris called.

“I reckon it was that girl who was in the blue bikini.” Dan said.

“It wasn’t her!”

“Ahhhh so it was a girl then.” I said and Max blushed, his whole face turning red.
