Chapter 17

Emily’s P.O.V

Josh came back to the table with a big smile on his face.

“Gosh what’s made you smile so much?”

“Just thinking about you” He said winking at me.

“Ugh Josh you big cheese” He laughed as the waitress brought over out dessert. Josh had ordered the biggest and the most chocolaty thing on the menu by the looks of it. It was a huge. The glass bowl was full of chocolate and vanilla ice cream, brownies, flakes and two long spoons sticking out the top. She put it in the middle and walked away as we thanked her.

“Oh my god Josh” I said laughing taking in the huge dessert in front of me.

“Well I didn’t know what else to order so I just picked this” He took out a spoon and started eating the ice cream. I took the other spoon and started eating some of the chocolate ice cream; I have to say it was delicious. I seemed to be eating loads of it but it never seemed to go down the bowl. I picked out a flake and started eating it.

“Ugh I’m starting to feel sick” I had a drink to try and take the feeling away but carried on eating anyway.

“It’s amazing though right? It’s what I always have.”

“What to yourself?” I ask shocked.

“Of course” Josh said casually as I sat there surprised that he could eat so much ice cream without feeling sick.

“Emily I’d starting eating if I were you before it’s all gone.” I carried on eating shaking my head at him. I ate as much as I could until I put the spoon down on the plate telling him that I couldn’t eat no more. He pulled the sundae towards him and began to eat more of the ice cream.

“Where is all that ice cream going?” I laughed at him while he finished the last bits of the dessert. He put his spoon down and had a drink of his coke.

“You had a good day?” He asked me.

“Yeah, you want to know my favourite bit?”

“Yeah” He said curious.

“Seeing you with ice cream down your chin” I leant forward and wiped the ice cream that had fell on his chin. He blushed and also wiped his chin.

“You ready to go?” He got his phone out and looked at the time. “Because its already quarter to 1” I nodded and got out my chair. I pushed it under the table and picked up my bags. I walked over to Josh as he took my hand and led me out the restaurant. I led him out the Bull Ring and towards my apartment.

By the time we got there it was just gone 1. We practically ran upstairs so Josh would be ready on time. When we got in the boys weren’t there.

“Where have they gone?” I asked Josh.

“Errrm I’m not sure I’ll phone them back if they aren’t here in 10 minutes.” Josh walked over to me and placed his arms around me. I out my arms around him and held him tight. I breathed in his scent and placed my head on his chest. He pulled away slightly and looked down at me. I looked up at him and he touched his lips slightly with mine. He kept placing little kissed on my lips until I reached up and held his head there. I entwined my hands in his hair holding him there as he moved his hands down my back.  He pulled me closer into him. He pushed me backwards and I fell backwards onto the sofa, followed by himself. He held his body weight off me with his hands either side of my head.  I laughed before his lips reattached with mine.

The doors suddenly burst open and Max, Dan and Chris walked through the door. Josh quickly sat up and I followed.

“Sorry to disturb” Max said laughing.
