"Fanana's not ready for that," Zuraki said.

"Then get her ready," Scar said. "Rafiki needs to be taken care off."

"How are we to even do that without getting Mufasa suspicious," Zuraki declared.

"We have to make it look like an accident," Zira said.

"Fanana won't agree to this," Zuraki announced.

"Why don't we be more direct. I have a plan," Nuka announced.

"You don't even believe in the plot," Zuraki said with a hint of anger.

               "Hush," Zira said to Zuraki.

"We'll hear you out," Scar said to Nuka.

It was a sunny and warm day in the Pride Lands. A perfect day to show Nzuri around.

Nzuri was growing up so fast. Gone was her spots, except one under her eye. Her tail grew long and fluffy.

She just got tour of the Pride Lands and came running to Fanana.

"I saw a zebra, and a gazelle, and a elephant, and...." Nzuri anounced.

"Did you see any cool bugs?" Fanana interrupted.

"Oh yes!" Nzuri said happily. "Bugs are so cute! I also splashed in a mud puddle."

"I see. You filthy," Fanana said while bending over to groom her.

                 Nzuri relaxed as Fanana licked.

"Can we explore today. There's so much more I want to see." Nzuri asked.

"We can do that. I know a special place," Fanana said.

"Let's go then," Nzuri stood up right away.

Fanana brought her to her rock by the river.

"This is our spot now," Fanana said.

"Wow. It's so pretty," Nzuri said while splashing in the water.

"I see a fish," Nzuri said as she pounced. Missing the fish, she landed face first in the water.

"Be careful," Fanana said. "Don't pounce. Watch me."

Fanana waited until a fish was perfectly in position. Then she swatted it out of the water.

"You see you need to swat them," Fanana informed.

Nzuri waited, then struck. A fish flue out.

" Your a quick learner," Fanana said with pride.

                      "Thank you," Nzuri smiled.

The sky darkened and rain started pouring down. Thunder was heard not far away.

"Let's go home," Fanana said to Nzuri.

"Aw," Nzuri pouted, but went home with no other comment.

That night Fanana snuck away like always. But the meeting with Zuraki was different this time. He led her down the tunnel where she entered a green steaming cave.

                       "You live hear?" Fanana asked.

"Me and my friends," He corrected.

"There's more," Fanana said with amazement.

Three spits stepped out in the open. Fanana knew them by description.

Her first instinct was to run back, but Zuraki blocked her. She new she could not attack spirits, but she would still die fighting.

As she bared her teeth, Zuraki said, "Where not going to hurt you."

                        Fanana kept her teeth bared.

"Fanana, where all friends hear," Zuraki said. "We're not looking at you ass an outsider. We saw your destiny. There is no point being anything else."

"You lied to me!" Fanana hissed and swatted at Zuraki.

"We didn't want too," Zuraki lied.

"Fanana," I tried to be good, but we can't. They won't let us, but we do have a place in this world. Together," Nuka said.

"Don't kid yourself Fanana. Don't you want to live up to your destiny," Scar said.

Fanana wasn't sure. She always wanted to belong and she knew she could never belong amongst the good.

"Did you really see my destiny?" She asked.

                         "Yes," Zuraki said.

Zuraki always looked after her. She new he was not lying. She needed to stop lying to herself. She was never meant to e good. One look at herself and it was clear.

'I'm not going to fight it no more. It's to exhausting,'  Fanana thought sadly.

The plan was in swing. Fanana snuck away in the middle of the night with a burning stick, let by the steam of the cave.

The rain was pouring. She had not doubted that the rain would wash away her sent, and she was confident that the fire would be blamed by the lightning.

Fanana insisted on this time. She was not prepared to kill Rafiki and she knew he was out collecting herbs.

'This will be enough though. The tree will  go down burning everything,' Fanana planned.

She set the tree slight and quickly got out of there.

The flames staked up and soon the tree was alight.

Fanana snuck bake to her sleeping family before anyone noticed.

In the morning the tree still stood, but everything burned.

Rafiki wouldn't stay in his tree. It would take months to fix.

Fanana couldn't believe how easy that was.

Now Zuraki, Scar, Zira, and Nuka talked.

"It's a shame Fafiki was not in his tree, but this will work," Scar said.

                     "Next Nzuri," Zira said.

"Fanana is wondering my story. I think I'll tell her," Zuraki suddenly said.

                    "Fine by me," Scar said.

"She is ready now," Zuraki said.

Nuka was not sure of Fanana, but he was along for the ride. If she betrayed them, he hade something special planned for her.
