Mischa sat alone at lunch, scrolling through his phone, texting the group to plough through his boredom.
"so thats the dude you have a crush on? Seriously? God, i thought you had better taste than that." Ocean said, looking at mischa disapprovingly,
"Oh shut up, you're a lesbian you have no right to judge my taste in men." Noel defended.
"You shut up."
"I didn't realise your fights would be worse in real life but here we are." Constance was just done with her life, not wanting to deal with their bullshit.
"wait i thought you had a crush on Mischa?" She continued.
".......no i don't"

"How about both of you-?" Constance joined.
Mischa laughed, just listening to the strangers bickering. totally not trying to stare at noel. tooootally not.
He slightly frowned hearing his name. hearing your name in conversation you aren't involved in always means 1 of 2 things:
you're being complemented
or
you're being insulted.
from Mischa's experience, its usually the latter.

Ocean looked at Noel, knowing full well thats bullshit, and yes she was gonna interrogate him about it later. He just avoided her gaze. not yet though, not in such a public place.
"I can't believe Mischa has a crush!" Constance said, breaking the silence.
"i know," noel said, slightly disappointed.
"why are you so upset? I thought you liked that other guy?" The ginger teased.
"shut up! he might hear you."
the sound of the bell rang in the background.
"ohgodweregonnabelate" ocean said panicking, throwing her stuff back into her bag and running off to her next class.
"bye then-?" Noel trailed off as she vanished into the distance.
"guess we should head off too then?" Constance asked with a smile
"Sure!"
